This used to be my favorite place to stay in Montreal. Not anymore ! I doubt if I will go back here !

Cons:

The property is not maintained! Rooms have humid & damp smell from carpets. Bathroom & corners have black mold visible ! They used to have proper cutlery in kitchen! Now you have to ask for it in that too is provided in limited numbers plus its no longer ceramic.. its paper based disposables! Lots have changed & detoriated! Everything is either cheap or not maintained! Very disappointing & truly repenting to have booked my stay here! Next door hotel Saint Laurent atleast is still maintained & quality stuff to satisfactory or higher levels. Here its all ruined ! Attitude of night staff is another level! Half the staff has excuse to say "I am new here so not sure"... So customers can suffer since the new staff was not adequately trained !!! 🙄

Pros:

Free breakfast, big rooms, good location, free lemon & orange water mid day. Entire kitchen and balcony included in stay. Good security in building.

Cons:

Could use a handy man, somethings in room falling apart. Better cleaning of walls, carpet replacement, corners crevices cleaned. Keycards continuously not working everyday needed to reset cards for room.

Pros:

Frukosten var typisk nord-amerikansk bestående av bagels, våfflor, jogurt och sockerflingor. Korv, ägg och potatis fanns också. Frukt fanns också, det var helt bra. Rummet bestod av två rum med kök och badrum. Rymligt för en familj på 5 personer. Hissarna var gammal, gav 1990-tals vibe, men fungerade.

Cons:

Gafflar, knivar och skedar var engångsbestick av trä och tallrikarna var engångspappersmaterial.
Parkeringen var dyr (20 CAD per dag), vilket var mer än förväntat, men läget är ju nästan mitt i centrum.
Köket på rummet hade ingen utrustning alls, men en lapp informerade att man kan få köksutrustning från reception.
Frukostsalen var opersonlig och enkel. Hotellet är aningen slitet men helt okej.

Stay away, pictures are not accurate to actual state of rooms, management is not understanding/flexible.

Location was very central and staff were understanding. Management is not understanding or flexible.

Cons:

There were stains and tears in the carpet and the wooden furniture was scuffed and looked very old. We asked to move rooms which they were very accommodating about, but in the second room the bathroom was not cleaned very thoroughly. There was hair on the floor from the last guests, and the same stains remained on the carpet. We ended up leaving and staying at another hotel nearby as the conditions triggered an anxiety attack in one of our family members. We contacted booking.com to get a refund since we ended up staying at a different hotel and for the stress of the evening, but the hotel manager refused to give us a refund. The management is not understanding or flexible and does not care about the quality of your stay at all, only the money they can earn from you. Stay away, pictures are not accurate to the actual state of the rooms.

Great location, don’t include breakfast and make sure you know how to get around without help from the hotel

The space in the room was great and the location was perfect

Cons:

There our no came it it’s in the room, they offer a kitchen but no dishes or utensils. For a traveler that makes it useless. There was no assistance from the staff on where to go, eat or how to get anywhere. They googled it like I did. Staff should Know the area better The breakfast had stale bread, and limited offerings for the price.

Pros:

Завтрак достаточно стандартный для Северной Америки. Номер неплохой, большой, балкон, но не было белья для третьего человека (хотя бронировали на троих) и не было совсем посуды. За посудой надо обращаться на ресепшн, что не совсем удобно. Вайфай бесплатный, работает хорошо. Паркинг за дополнительные деньги, но это изначально указано.

Cons:

Не было плиты для готовки еды. Мало света в номере. Плохо работал пульт от ТВ, выключали/включали с помощью розетки.

Pros:

Staff were helpful, breakfast was very good and well stocked, great location for key attractions, shopping area (Eaton Centre, etc.) and access to subway. Clean and comfortable.

Cons:

On a busy road, rather noisy, sirens and traffic. Unfortunately civil works on side road at the time with works starting early. Rooms self contained but not cutlery etc provided, only disposal as requested from reception.
