Cons:

This did not feel like a 4-star hotel.
There were many small issues that were not up to standard. For example, the shower was not working properly and, despite reporting it, no one came to check it. The sink stopper kept getting stuck, some cables were uncovered, and the room was never properly restocked.
Breakfast was so-so.
The worst part, however, was the location. To get to the hotel, and to go into town from the closest station, you have to pass through an underpass full of drug addicts trying to sell you stuff. It was very unpleasant, especially in the evening. Just to the left of the hotel, there is also a homeless camp.
Apart from not being particularly well connected, the area felt very unsafe.

In summary, a nice hotel with excellent staff and a good location, but the comfort of the beds could really be improved.
Pros:

The reception staff were really friendly and helpful, which made a good first impression and added a personal touch to the experience.

Location is also a strong point, with convenient busses that make getting into Rome easy. This made it a good hotel for exploring the city without being right in the busy centre.

The room was clean and pleasant.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the beds were very hard and quite uncomfortable, which led to a bad back after three nights. This did take away from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Great service & staff and quality of stay. Price about 15 euros/night too expensive in my opinion.
