Car park is not free and we had a fine for booking incorrectly for our stay, but thankfully it was resolved

Charging for parking, not much choice of alternative places to park and not necessary. Be honest and charge with the room rate.
Lovely rooms for families, loved the location for us. Breakfast was lovely and allergy information was easy to find. Lots of choices.
Asked for cot to be in room as we were arriving late took us three hours to settle our youngest due to not be set up, made the evening tad stressful. To say I asked on booking and called hotel day before each time was meant to be noted.

No poached eggs on offer. Two waitresses made an error as to my allocated table. Went to start selecting food, got back, table had been occupied by someone else....
Clean and comfortable. It has everything we needed. Staff were welcoming and excellent. The lovely lady that oversaw breakfast was a star. We have travelled a lot and she was the happiest, most welcoming staff member we have come across. She couldn’t do enough. Watching her greet guests and chat to people was the highlight of our stay.

Stayed two nights, Sat & Sunday. Very nice stay. Clean. Comfortable. On a busy Saturday night in the hotel the room was quiet/peaceful. All staff (receptionist, bar-keep, housekeeping, catering in morning) were attentive, helpful, and welcoming. I like dealing with people, I only delt with one machine to pay parking. Self-served breakfast offer was substantial...not gourmet but good value- I didn't eat again till dinner. The on-tap ale at the bar was nice. I'd use this place again. Excellent value, good price, why pay more?
The machine selling "did you forget..." products in the lobby had eye-opening 'motorway-services' prices. So don't forget your toothbrush!
staff, room, cleanliness, the dove handwash and shower gel, comfy bed, tea and coffee, tv easy to use, was given option of what floor I'd like to be on.
water pressure not great all round, would be good to serve breakfast till 11. more coffee as you need 2 sachets per cup!
