Pros:

Great location for us. The hotel is clean, modern, with everything we needed. All of the staff were very friendly and approachable. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice hot and cold.

Pleasant and memorable
Pros:

Breakfast fine, great sausages.
Location bit out of town but nice and quiet, pleasant outlook.
Much easier once we got hang of buses.

Cons:

Only one small niggle...familiar with hotel bar prices....but £25 for 2 large gin and tonics?

Great accomodation. Will sure use again
Pros:

The staff were very helpful. The bed is very comfortable. The location was great (very close to Royal infirmary Hospital Bristol)
Also a lovely breakfast included.

The breakfast buffet was nice. The shower pressure was good too.

Cons:

The mattress, it felt like sleeping on the box frame itself. Even the mattress topper was worn and uncomfortable.
I was disappointed to have to pay for parking separately. The air conditioning unit in my room was not functional, I did end up using the space heater provided however I can't imagine this room being bearable in the summer.

Great staff
Pros:

We stayed for 3 nights on a group coach tour visiting Bristol and the surrounding area. The hotel is well-situated in pleasant grounds giving us a view of wildlife around the pond.
Although at first sight the rooms were "spartan" there was a place for everything and everything worked well and simply. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The meals were better than expected, with a good choice of well-cooked food at breakfast and tasty food for dinner.
The stand-out feature of this hotel is the staff - friendly and efficient throughout.
