Not the best I’ve ever seen for the price of my room.

Upon arrival after a long day of driving, exhausted and just want to sleep. I was sent to down the road to the ATM for a cash deposit on a room that was over $300. That I didn’t know I needed. I get back, I received my key and there was a very vague direction given, told I was on pool side and I was sent on my way, this place is multidirectional and there were elevators but I couldn’t find them…..Even with signs….I found my room finally to be greeted with a broken door. The weather strip was coming from the door. My batteries were low to the key card magnet. I woke up in the morning and went down to have breakfast and ask for a couple amenities, there wasn’t anyone at the desk, it was early so I gave it come consideration, went back to my room. When I came back down to leave, I was going to grab the amenities. Still no one. I didn’t have time to wait so when I returned later on the evening, I was about to get in the shower and noticed the bathroom door was missing a screw. There wasn’t anyone urine on the base of the toilet. There is a clear dust line under the bedside stands. Then I stayed there for 3 nights. I didn’t want house keeping on the second day so I denied it. I smoke cigarettes. Bad habit yes, but the day I left the housekeeping staff accused me of smoking in my room and was going to withhold my deposit as the housekeeper blatantly lied and said there were ashes on the toilet seat and the room smelled like smoke. 1. I used to be an inspector for a hotel per an IHG standard. 2. In the three nights that I stayed there I was never given a smoke warning. It wasn’t needed because I wasn’t smoking. 3. This is rude and very unwelcoming, I don’t know if I would recommend this place to anyone. There was literally never any staff in sight. The whole building has an off smell to it. Breakfast was of an IHG standard and bland.

Was a comfortable experience and will probably stay there again.
Pros:

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Nice having refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, meeting room with printer and computers very helpful. Met my basic needs. Jackie was the receptionist that checked me in. She was very pleasant.

Cons:

The gentlemen that checked me out was too quiet/boring. Didn't say much, made me kind of uncomfortable. Pool was not open yet (March 24 was cold) but looks like it needs to be cleaned b4 opening.

Hockey weekend in Buffalo
Pros:

It was a good place to stay close to the city but not over priced. It's a little dated but it was clean. I would stay there again.

Great stay for the price, location isn’t too bad at all, and the amenities are excellent.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and inviting. Room was tidy upon arrival and everything about the stay was almost seamless.

Cons:

The room I had was only for one person so it’s not a huge deal, but I believe it was room 154 that the bathroom door does not fully shut. I also didn’t have a bath towel which I could have asked for so that’s half on me and not a huge deal.

We had a window that went into the hallway. Super weird. So no light in room. Sheets were clean but had stains. Just old and run down.

As expected, we had another relaxing, enjoyable stay at this hotel.
Pros:

We have stayed here many times previously and have never been disappointed. It is conveniently located near the NYS Thruway and Rt. 190 so it is easy to go in any direction. Being next to Rt. 190 allows you to quickly and easily travel to downtown Buffalo, the Peace Bridge or Niagara Falls. They have everything you need to be comfortable and while it is not real fancy it a great value for the price. They have pleasant, helpful and courteous people at the front desk.
