Book into a room that was under construction. With big hole drilled threw concrete ceiling and 14 inch hole cut in Wall exposed insulation. Sheetrock and concrete dust all over tables and floor. Insulation on bedspread. Request a deferent room. Was informed none available. Came in next evening from work. House keeping replaced towels made bed. But never cleaned up anything or vacuumed construction debris on floor. Booked threw 3rd party so it was a 3 night stay none refundable. So I stayed in the itchy room. Because I'm traveling for work on a budget. Emails and several calls to contact general manager with no answer. Poorly management and hardly could find staff at front desk. No one at desk at 6 am to check me out. Had to call several times to get checked out. Place has lacked maintenance for awhile. Only one elevator working. The one that was working was very sketchy like making you want to take stairs. Very poor house keeping threw out the hotel. Hardly anybody ever at front desk to assist you with anything.

It worked but could have been better.
Pros:

The stay was just ok. The bathroom was dirty and there was a huge hole in the wall by the window. You could actually see the light into the next room. That was a bit uncomfortable so we placed a cup in the hole before bed. I think they might be putting a mini split in that room and that’s why the holes were there but nevertheless it was off putting. Pool was kinda gross

The breakfast was actually really good.

Generally this was a good clean hotel reasonably priced.
Pros:

Breakfast was okay but I slso liked the fact that you could help yourself to free regular and Decaff Coffee all day long.
The cleanest of the hotel was very good. My room was cleaned daily, which is brilliant compared to some hotel chai s.
Although the hotel's decor could do with a little referb, including the gym & pool area's, it was clean and priced very reasonable.

Cons:

Gym and pool area need modernised.
Ground floor Lift area needed modernising.

Rooms are great, staff wasn't.
Pros:

It was very comfortable.

Cons:

The pool area wasn't clean and you could tell it's been awhile. I asked for pool towels because none were stocked and you would have thought I ruined the girls day that was working the counter. Ice machine didn't work on our floor and had to use a different floors. Perhaps train the front staff to inform about pricing. I booked for $109 and she charged me $134.

Only one Elevator working.. and has been the case for many years as per couple of people who regularly stay in this hotel...once we had to wait almost 7 mins to get our turn..

Very low toilet in bathroom, limited TV channels, ok but not great breakfast. No restaurants in reasonable walking distance.
