Beautiful property. The people are amazing there and very hospitable.

The rooms are large and traditional costarican rooms.

The beach access is steep, but the beach is beautiful. Lovely fish to see while snorkeling.

Would stay again.

This property needs major work.
Staff very friendly but no internet, wifi in the rooms. Air conditioner was to small for the room. Patio door the latch was broken. At one time this was a beautiful property but over time has been neglected. Apparently the owner lives in Texas and has let his properties really be neglected.

Our room what extremely hot, 81 degrees. Two towels provided for a family of four.
No exaggeration there were spiders and ants everywhere, coming out of electrical sockets and wall trim. Shower knobs broken. No soap, no wash clothes, no paper towels

Everyone we talked to was extremely friendly and helpful.
There was supposed to be WiFi but it only worked in the lobby.

My only complaint is that there is no internet in the rooms, there is no hot water, and the bathroom and kitchen are dirty. The people who work there are very friendly.

The staff was helpful and friendly but didn’t have the key for us, we had to ask for towels and sheets which were stained and torn when we finally retrieved them ourselves in the rain. The shower was filthy and stained, I don’t think it could have appeared clean even if scrubbed. There was a gap in the wooden front door and the glass slider wouldn’t close completely, gapped between panels- also if tugged on, it would come away from the door frame- could have been broken easily to gain entry. There was giant ants crawling all over. The walls and window covers were faded and stained - the whole place seemed unclean and was uncomfortable to be in.

So disappointed! We arrived after dark. Check in was quick but the room we were given was so disgusting. Lights falling out the ceiling, fridge didn't keep items cold, the toilet didn't flush, the ac filters were so dirty and clogged, the cobwebs in the windows, dirty drawers in the kitchen, just to name a few. We survived the night and asked for a new room. The new room was mariginally better but the moldy grounds left in the coffee pot pushed me over the edge. We booked 3 nights but left after 2. This place has the potential but the owners need to invest in repairs and maintenance.

Check in was easy. Pool was nice. Staff was attentive with minimal resources. The room was substandard; beds, cooking utensils, lights and fans not working, dirty old fridge, air conditioning that could not keep up with the heat, no decking furniture ( we had to ask), bathroom had missing tiles, screen not secured and was disgusting We had payed for 5 nights and left after the second night even though it was not- refundable by the Expedia. To top it off our neighbors who were local paid 1/4 of the price which we were charge by Expedia. They actually laughed at us. We believe Expedia mislead us or they were mislead. We use Expedia regularly and did not anticipate they would lead us that way according to the posting. Stay away!!

This property is poorly maintained and managed. Missing light bulbs dirty shower , mismatched sheets on beds . Terrible mattress, poorly marked units . Very rural and not a good value for the money.

Its nice up on the hill but secluded, they had NO fresh water. NO AC , and the restaurant was closed so NO food. The nearest place was a $ 50 usd ride away . AND they double charged us.

This property is in really bad condition. Expedia shouldn’t have listed. Broken furniture, dirty and is in really bad conditions

Great location, they appear to be trying to fix the place up. But the room was far from acceptable. It appears no one has cleaned the rooms in months. Upon arrival we were missing towels for the bathroom, and it was odd that they left the key just hanging in the lock for us to just "let ourselves in".
I thought my 11 y.o. daughter was exaggerating when she told me it looked like a scary movie in the bathroom. She would not shower without my wife right outside the door. And to my dismay, she was right on. The soap scum and mold in the shower was unacceptable. Then to find out it was a cold shower because she didn't have any hot water. It didn't appear to have been swept in weeks with all of the bugs and dust under the bed. These are the big items of my nit picking. The small items, beach access? Kind of. It is shared with the hotel next door that you have to cross a trench to get to. Sliding glass door to the balcony didn't lock.
This place has some very serious potential, and I did see people working to fix it up. Just would have been nice to know these things before we were there.

Relaxing

Rooms need a major update. Dripping faucets, knobs not functioning, noisy appliances, stained commode, tub stained and chipped glazing.

Never heard from the property on late check in procedures and did not take the risk of driving an hour to get there. Will be seeking a refund.

The space and the people working there !

Could be a really nice place. Needs some lights for night time. Needs some TLC. Decently clean but not resort quality clean.

First, there is no entrance sign for this property, it took us about 15 minutes to figure out. Road to the unit is all one way, narrow & tight parking space. The reception area was so primitive.
The unit we got was in bad shape: bed not comfy, bedsheets were old and torn, chairs & sofa looked dirty, shower tub and glass door had all dirty stain and mold, a few wall tiles were missing, air conditioning dripped water on floor all night and we had to be careful walking around in the room, couldn't open safe & staff wouldn't provide master code to open, lock on patio door were broken. We felt so unsafe and uncomfortable the whole night and we felt being cheated by the pictures and descriptions posted on Expedia.
That was the worst stay in my life. I would not stay there even if that was free of charge. That place needs a big renovation or they just need to shut down the business.
