Great location!
Pros:

Great location for a visit to Vicksburg. The location was the deciding factor when we booked as the accommodation is basic, but it was clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The accommodation gives you what you would expect for the price.

It was simple and clean and close to downtown

Cons:

They turned off the elevator at 11:00 and didn’t turn it back on until 7:00 the next morning. This is totally unacceptable we wanted to leave early but couldn’t because we were locked in!

Clean rooms comfortable bed hot shower after a long day.
Pros:

Considering that the area is a flux of changes, for the better. It was centrally located, and I was able to explore downtown and local parks with little effort. Plenty of eating and drinking options, even on a Sunday.

Cons:

The place looked and felt sketchy and battered, but they seemed to be working on cleaning it up. You can tell it is used by out-of-town workers and people like me looking for a one-night stay before moving along. My bolt lock needed some coaxing because the top of the door was bent, but the room had everything you needed to stay in, including a fridge, microwave, and coffee.

Reception staff a young lady called Britney was really friendly and polite
Room was spotless and had a small kitchenette fridge etc ( although I didnt use it)
Very near to lovely rooftop bar and historic sites

Upon arrival the man on duty was friendly and attentive.

Cons:

Sometime during the night the staff shuts off the elevators, locks up the lobby, turns off the phone system. Keep in mind this hotel does not provide any room phones or any way to report any emergency. Being a mobility disabled Veteran placed on the 5th floor with only 5 flights of stairs to reach ground level in the event of any type of emergency really upset me. This is a blatant safety issue. Had I known this prior to check in I would have stayed elsewhere. The woman on duty at check out couldn't have cared less upon hearing my complaint. I asked her if she even cared and she just continued to ignore me. I hope no one dies because of this hotels policy of locking the doors and shutting down the elevators and phone systems.

Pros:

It was a great value for the price.\n The rooms were spotless plenty of plums for all your phones and tablets and all that stuff very clean, very nice, reasonably priced near downtown, I wouldn't hesitate to use it again or go there again and the lady in charge was extremely nice and helpful, a great place to stay and recommended to all travelers.
