Nice property
Breakfast very mean. No bowls bigger than an ashtray. Fruit came in very small jars, could only use a teaspoon. As a result multiple trips back to the buffet needed. Everything was designed to reduce portion size. Coffee poor. Pastries good, cereals cheap. Overall breakfast was a disappointment.
location, heritage estate, excellent front desk staff
pillows were awfully soft, bed could be better
Sehr gute Lage, sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr freundliches Personal
The location was excellent, the receptionists were excellent.
The food in the restaurant was appalling, I have no words to describe the meal. I chose the plaice in batter and chips . Old horrid and truly inedible. Don’t eat at this place. I did not complain at the time, I was very tired and it was just too much for me on that day, and I’m well aware even if I had it would not have made a difference. The chef and the waiting staff were not up to par.
Well organised and very welcoming
Nothing
This hotel is genuinely a heritage jewel, set in a beautiful Georgian building with many attractive period features and elegant large rooms. The restaurant opens onto a lawned garden with mature trees. Bedrooms are good sized with large beds and well appointed bathrooms. (Ours had a rolled top bath as well as a walk-in shower).
The aircon and free wifi worked well. We had a kettle, fridge and Nespresso coffee maker.
Parking needs to be pre-booked but is free on site.
Beautiful building, location and decor. Excellent staff
Not budget friendly
Frühstücksbuffet mit guter Auswahl. Am Morgen etwas hektisch.
Room was very comfortable. Took the air conditioner a while to cool the room down but was very comfortable during the night .
Breakfast was excellent ! I commented to the staff it was very nice and healthy .
ok some of the carpets were a it worn, but that did not bother me.
The location was very good for our needs as we attended an event at the Asembly Hall
The breakfast was not overly hot when delivered to our table. I asked for poached eggs and they were more like hard boiled eggs as they had been overcooked
