Great location and parking good food and comfortable beds
Nothing
Location, friendly staff, good food and comfortable room
Had the most wonderful afternoon tea , service was first class as was the food !!!!!
Will definitely return , couldn’t fault a thing … Spoke to a lady called Amanda on arrival at reception who was very helpful & showed me exactly where to go .. As first point of contact she certainly made us feel welcome .. Well done Aberdeen Malmaison ….. x
The breakfast was amazing, room was spacious and very well decorated and kept. Great showers, and enjoyed having the claw bath in the room.
Also appreciated the slightly higher wattage USB-C plug sockets, although would have been better if they were capable of up to 100W as many laptops require that. Was good for charging most other devices though at 20W.
Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Loved the Ferrero rocher welcome, and the iron was decent. Happened upon the fridge too late to save our picnic snacks and drinks sadly, but seemed functional. Activated Wardrobe lighting also a nice touch
I’m really nit picking here, because we really enjoyed it overall.
We were in room 009, which has a lovely view of… the car park. Not ideal when you’ve booked a deluxe club double room. Also wasn’t clear how to gain access to said car park. Also would benefit from some on-site charging facilities, although a niche requirement we had travelled over 300 miles in our EV and could have saved us a stop on the return leg.
I do think the TV should be on a swivel mount, so that it can be turned towards the bath in the room.
The lighting in the room was… interesting. At times, the spotlights seemed to be a bit much, but then at other times it was hard to do makeup because not enough lighting. I’m not sure spotlights is the way forward for rooms that are so punchy with their decorations.
It’s situated a little out of the way, which is pleasant from a peace and quiet perspective, but found it difficult to decide what to eat. I’m sure the restaurant was decent, we just were in the mood for something more casual after the 6 hours on the road.
Anyway, lots of really small things, hardly worth writing really, but maybe some small ways in which to optimise the guest experience going forwards.
Quick efficient check in. Great size room with coffee machine, kettle, safe and fridge. Lots of plug sockets in the right places. Breakfast choices will cater for most food preferences. Highly recommend the restaurant for dinner. Could not fault the service or the steaks we had.
The shower cubicles were very tight even for someone of average build. The beds were probably a bit on the soft side, but thts personal prefernce
Modern amenities in a beautiful building. Popular lounge filled with guests beyond those staying in the hotel.
A bit of a walk to city centre. Limited parking lot and finding street parking on a Friday night proved a bit difficult.
Most things were great
The more expensive "club room" was basically a fishtank with floor to ceiling windows onto a public path.
just perfect
nothing
Die Lage ist prima, kein Lärm klang durch die Zimmer.
Das angegliederte Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.
Die Standby- Geräte wie ein Spiegel und der TV waren lästige Lichtquellen bei Nacht.
This is the second in time in a couple of months we have stayed at this hotel, the welcome you receive is great, all desk staff are very helpful, also at breakfast the staff are very attentive, and having the room cleaned even though we were only there for the 2 Nights was also a bonus.
Friendly and good quality

Went to Malmaison Aberdeen for afternoon tea. I really enjoyed the food there and was surprised at variety of different food options.
Staff were helpful but did have to ask for our teas and coffees and missed one drink from our order, other than that the staff were friendly.
Would definitely recommend.
