ibis Gurgaon Golf Course Road Hotel

My stay at Ibis Gurgaon Golf Course Road was operationally fine — clean room, efficient check-in, predictable business hotel experience.
However, I encountered a significant pricing transparency issue. The booking voucher reflected a final payable amount of ~₹36,000 after reward points and 5% GST. At checkout, I was charged over ₹41,000 because 18% GST was applied instead, citing the ₹7,500 per-night GST threshold.
While I understand GST regulations, the confirmed payable amount at booking differed materially from the final charge. Being told this occurred due to a “system limitation” raises concerns about price clarity at the time of confirmation.
For future guests: verify the per-night tariff and applicable GST slab carefully, especially if rates are near the ₹7,500 mark.
I hope management reviews its booking system to ensure customers see the accurate final amount before confirmation.

Great hotel for the money. Also, pretty close from the airport. You have your basics and breakfast buffet, fuzzball at the bar, tennis court, and twenty steps to the train station to Delhi!

Thank chef ayub and team for such great breakfast. Really love the food and service. The spoon mean to say the ambiance there is wall on which some spice are represented I really love it.

Thank chef the wood was good I have been first time in the hotel with my friend and I really like her choice about the food in gurugram we had nice breakfast . As well in luch we had some chur chur naan that was fantastic thankyou chef such a great food and taste .

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and I’d especially like to commend the manager Mr. Angshuman for their outstanding leadership and professionalism. They were approachable, attentive, and clearly dedicated to ensuring guests felt welcome and well taken care of. Any questions or requests were handled promptly and with genuine care. It’s clear that the manager sets a high standard for service, which reflects positively in the entire team. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

Everything was fine, front of the house team was know how to welcome the guest. Angshuman helps a lot to knowing about the property and telling about services.

It's always really nice staying here. The hotel staff are always helpful. Balram and Somit from the service department were so kind, genuine and helpful. I will keep coming back here cause the people working here are actually genuinely nice.

Rooms are cozy and very clean. All amenities are nice. The location is very close to the Airport so very easy and less traffic. Typically can reach within 30 minutes.
Breakfast was good. Staff is really friendly. Specially Balram.
The atmosphere of the hotel is very funky and it’s really nice.
However, value for money is a little question - in some days it costs 10,000 which is a little too expensive. Price should be around 7-8,000 max.

Had an amazing experience at the Ibis hotel Gurgaon. Mr Chandradev was an amazing person. He kept the room so neat and tidy. And seeing his name on the welcome card was a heart warming welcome. I’ve stayed in hotels across the world, including spending half the year in 5-star properties, but IBIS Gurgaon Race Course gave me one of the worst check-in experiences.

When I arrived, I went through security screening as usual. The room wasn’t ready, so I stepped out and returned after an hour. A white guest walked in right before me with a backpack similar to mine — he was not stopped or asked to screen his bag.

But as soon as I entered, the staff member Kishna insisted I put my bag through screening again.
When I asked why the white guest wasn’t checked, he had no explanation and simply laughed.

This isn’t just a “Kishna issue” — it’s a deeper problem in India where some staff treat white guests like they’re superior and discriminate against their own people. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

For this discriminatory experience alone, 1 star.

Recently visited ibis Hotel on Golf Course Road in Gurugram and had an amazing experience. The food was outstanding, especially the chhole bhature and French cheese omelette, which were simply delicious. Amit, the head chef, truly knows how to impress with his culinary skills. Amit gave me complimentary spicy chili pickle which was tremendously tasty. The service by the staff was courteous and efficient—special thanks to Balram and Nitin, who served with great warmth and attentiveness. The reception was handled smoothly by Aniket, making the check-in pleasant and welcoming. Overall, the hospitality and food quality exceeded expectations, making it a top recommendation for anyone visiting Gurugram.
