I liked the view, the room, its size, how quite it was inside the building, access to the restaurant and bar, comfort, ability to separate the room in 2,
That they charged me $6 for water I didn't drink and then threw in an extra 75.00 charge that was not on my receipt. The noise from the highway was also annoying.
Everything.
Our stay was awesome, however the one thing i would call in to question was the coffee. The Coffee was not all that great. There is a Starbucks in the lobby but the hotel coffee as sub par. No favored creams and the coffee was pretty weak (regular), and with the huge awesome spread of the breakfast the coffee was lacking. Have regular and at least a DARK roast that is stronger.
Although the room was spacious and beautifully located, and the view was wonderful the hotel was wonderful and clean and well kept the room was very cold and even when we turned the heater on to 75 it was still very cold and I could not tell if the heat was on or not. It continued to be cold throughout the night and we were glad that we had brought extra blankets. I am someone who can’t sleep if they’re cold so I had a hard time sleeping however, the bed was pretty comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful and gave you lots of options. The coffee was good. The juice was good. I really like the ambience and laid-back casual atmosphere. I felt comfortable and relaxed enough to come to breakfast in my PJs and the staff was very helpful in the breakfast buffet. There was plenty of tables it was a low stress dining area. The elevator was awesome going up and being able to see everything and going down and seeing everything. It was tricky at first until I realized I had to use my room key to get the elevator to move. Also, I had to investigate and go down several halls in order to find the emergency exit stairs and that worried me a little bit because ultimately if there was an emergency and the elevators were out, we would be trapped since we would be unfamiliar with the hotel emergency access (there was signs everywhere but not easy to locate actual exit stairs) I did not find a map of the hotel with clearly written emergency exit locations or protocols. I was glad I was able to use my own Netflix accounts and other accounts for the television, although I am not used to this practice because the last time my family stayed at a hotel, we just had to turn it on and you got cable. Lastly, my phone service was shoddy and the Internet was iffy while I was in my room. The kids loved the pool, but they said it was cold and the room was cold and they said there was no hot tub to warm them up.
$15 parking. That’s a lot of money. The heater system was iffy we were cold all night. We talked to the staff about the heater and they were not very helpful they did however provide some blankets. The T.V remote was confusing but I figured it out. No vending machines.
2 free drinks for happy hour
Paid a lot for the room and then had to pay for parking on top of it. Front desk manager on Easter was not friendly at all. Checked out at noon and he was very unkind and I would not want to do business with him again. Not friendly at all.
There was not a hot tub
Not a fan of the new parking fees
I love the buffet and omelet area for breakfast.
No hot tub!!!! Big bummer and wouldn't stay again because of that. Also called for room service, after 30 min wait I went to front desk.
I like the spaciousness of the rooms, cleanliness and modern appointments.
Didn’t have the breakfast
Tv did not work in bedroom. Our views were of rooftop units out our bedroom window. Took forever for the sink or shower water to heat up. Thermostat was on 70 but room was cold, turned it up to 72 and made no difference.
I liked that they had a wide selection and the breakfast hours were very accommodating.
There was only one real problem there was no hot water in the room and the fridge didnt work.
Food was very good, staff was friendly and helpful, all areas, including our room, were immaculate.
Cheaper parking for guests.
I stay at this location annually for CACTA and every other year for CACTE. I'm NEVER disappointed by my experience. Each and every staff member from the moment I check in, to enjoying the culinary requests (and mine are unique because of allergies), and comfort of my hotel room and convention facilities, attention to detail is top-notch. Axle in the AV services and Gregory in the restaurant as well as text messages from Kaylee made my stay incredibly enjoyable.
