First time staying here and it was great! Rooms look exactly like the pics...our room was on the 9th floor. Room was clean and very comfortable. We especially liked how there wasnt any carpeting. Worth the extra money to stay here. We paid the valet fee for our stay...it was worth it, especially in these cold temps.
Booked this hptel based on its proximity to ROy Thomson Hall. turned out we were in the moddled of everything and walked everywhere depite the weather. Pleasant stff, comfortable room with wvery amenity one might want. Good value too
My wife and I spent four nights at the Revery Toronto Downtown over New Years, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we checked in, we were impressed—we were upgraded to a junior suite that was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our stay.
What truly set this hotel apart was the breakfast restaurant staff and hostess. Every morning, they greeted us with genuine warmth and friendliness that made us feel like valued guests rather than just room numbers. As someone with celiac disease who must eat strictly gluten-free, dining out can often be stressful, but the team here went above and beyond. They were incredibly careful with cross-contamination, knowledgeable about my dietary needs, and still managed to make the experience feel special rather than restrictive.
The highlight of my mornings was their gluten-free French toast with fruit—an absolute treat that I rarely get to enjoy at hotels. Beyond the excellent food service, the staff also took the time to offer suggestions for fun activities and things to explore around Toronto, which enhanced our entire visit.
I should mention that the staff were remarkably accommodating—they didn’t even bat an eye when I ordered my iced latte every morning despite the fact that it was well below freezing outside. That’s the kind of non-judgmental service everyone appreciates!
I would highly recommend the Revery Toronto Downtown to any traveler, but especially those with dietary restrictions. The team here understands that managing dietary needs doesn’t mean sacrificing hospitality or experience—they deliver both brilliantly.
After a lot of research, we chose to stay at the Revery because of its location (slightly away from downtown, but still close to everything we wanted to do) and the price we were able to get. We had four people (2 adults and 2 teenagers) in a 2 queen bed room. The room was a very good size, with plenty of space for our four nights.
The room (1017) was tucked in a corner and was very clean and the bathroom was a good size. We had service each day, which was appreciated with four people in the room. The staff was also very friendly. We had one issue with noise on our floor very late at night. We called the front desk, and security came right up and it was taken care of immediately.
We had coffee from the coffee shop on the first floor several times, and it was pretty good. There is also a small fitness room (we didn't use it) and a restaurant (which we didn't eat at) on the 2nd floor.
I would absolutely stay at the Revery again!
Beautiful hotel in downtown Toronto! A short walk from Union Station, Rogers Centre, and CN Tower. Plus, TIFF is right around the corner. The rooms are modern and sleek yet comfortable. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Toronto!
Hotel was great in all aspects with the exception of the culinary offerings. The staff service is phenomenal across the entire hotel, I would like to highlight Katherine from the front office, Patricia from the morning breakfast as well as Julia (I believe that was the AM restaurant managers name I can’t quite remember), it’s also worth noting the PM restaurant manager on December 6 was great.
Although the hotel, amenities, convenience and location was great, the food was a HUGE Letdown. I can say this has been the worst food I’ve had in a hotel in a very long time. As a foodie myself I find it exciting getting to try different food options and exploring what the hotels food and beverage program offers.
The front of the house team was so attentive and always was very accommodating. The coffee was great in the mornings and the bartender on the evening of December 6th prepared an amazing aperol spritz. However I was very let down by the back of the house with the following:
- Serving overcooked and though steak lacking in flavor
- Item was not prepared as requested as I had asked for truffle fries which was a premium and the order was prepared with regular fries (however the server was accommodating and had them remake it)
- Lobster Pasta presentation could have been better as it did not look as pictured in the elevators
- Pasta could have also used some freshly grated Parmesan or something more upscale for the price
- Bacon was swimming in a grease puddle
- Omelette did not taste like anything despite adding cheese and onions (needs a little more seasoning)
- Round breakfast potatoes although cute some were hard or completely raw in the middle.
It seems to me that they have very inconsistent cooking practices. The service is great and would return but will be eating elsewhere in Toronto!
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it for travelers who value convenience and accessibility. The location is unbeatable—right in the city center, making it easy to reach many attractions, business districts all on foot. The area felt very safe and walkable, which was especially reassuring when exploring in the evening. The hotel is newly renovated and very clean.
Transportation options were plentiful and easy to access, with both public transit and ride-share pickup points located nearby. This made getting around the city quick and hassle-free, whether traveling to meetings or sightseeing farther afield.
Another highlight was the abundance of dining options within walking distance—from local cafés and bakeries to upscale restaurants, there’s something for every taste and budget. Having so many choices nearby made it easy to enjoy great meals without venturing far.
Overall, this hotel’s prime location, safety, and easy accessibility make it an excellent choice for anyone visiting the city, whether for business or leisure. I’d gladly stay here again for the convenience and peace of mind it offers.
Did not meet expectations, totally disappointed. Poor utility system, bad housekeeping, no nutritional support. Inability to meet customer requests. Bad experience at every point.
We had a one night stay in Toronto traveling from Chicago on to Montreal. The location of the hotel is great - easy walking to many restaurants as well as some of the main sights in Toronto. We had a corner room on the upper floor and the view was wonderful - I would highly recommend requesting a room on a higher floor. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. No hesitation on recommending The Revery for a stay in Toronto.
Lovely hotel with good sized rooms and a great location. Very attentive staff who were able to answer any questions and respond to requests quickly and professionally.
The onsite restaurant and coffee bar offered a decent selection at reasonable prices .
Beds very comfortable and line es fresh and clean.
The room overall was very clean upon arrival and had all the accommodations needed like a safe, coffee maker and plenty of storage space.
There were issues with tv signal but that was to be remedied quickly so wasn’t a big deal.
Onsite ballet only parking is a bit pricey but had them add to the room charges .
Will stay there again next time in Toronto.
CN Tower a short 10 minute walk from the hotel so location is exceptional.
Gorgeous hotel! The amenities and room were clean and beautiful. Checking in was a breeze and the staff were warm and professional.
Great hotel, service and food!
The rooms were so gorgeous. I love the dining options available and the food at the restaurant was amazing.
Amazing property! Great location, very walkable to activities near Rogers Centre. Staff from Valet to bartenders were excellent. Nice clean spacious rooms. Highly recommend!
It was nice and close too everything we needed dinner spots and bar for a concert
Was surprised that the front office staff was not very friendly nor helpful.
We felt that they looked dismissive and aloof.
The location was perfect and was a walkable distance to a lot of destinations! Many shops around as well. Staff were friendly and amenities were lovely. The room was spacious and clean. There is a restaurant on site with delicious food. Overall 5/5 stay.
We had booked a room to see the Blue Jays play the Yankees. Sadly, my husband came down with a terrible virus the night before. Assuming we were out the hotel money, I called just to check. The kind person who answered the phone gave us a refund and wished my husband well.
This makes me want to try to stay there in the future. Sorry I didn’t get her name, but thank you, Revery!
Loved it!
I think majority of the rooms are connected rooms and the conversations from the neighboring room is very loud. I woke up at midnight when I heard the couple next door talking and music playing. Very startling. The rooms are nice and the hotel is in a central location to where I needed to be but I would not stay here again. The decore is interesting in that most accents are red. I stayed in a upper floor to keep away from street noise. There is not much to see from the rooms except surrounding buildings. TV was not working and when I called the front desk they said someone would come take of it. I didn't realize they meant the next day.
