平平无奇，不要抱太大期望
Cons:

网上很多人推荐的酒店，说是出门就能看到孤独的树。提前了2个月预定的，也是本次行程最贵的一个酒店。满心期待，然而房间很小，床只有90公分，我们拿着20公斤大行李，说要一层的房间，给了门在一楼，进门后要上一个很窄的楼梯的房间，也是本次旅行住过最小的的房间。孤独的树在阳台前，但是有大树挡住，真的性价比超低，说实话挺失望的。而且孤独的树挺平平无奇的，反而是镇中心一点的湖景更好看。

Relaxed Wanaka location, good sized rooms with views of the lake/mountains.
Pros:

Great location, far enough out of town to have peace and quiet but close enough to walk to restaurants for nights out. Room was generous with washer dryer, essential when out in the winter weather. Views were good. Sauna and Spa tubs were fun and relaxing. Easy reach to ski fields, hiking, day trips to Queenstown. Had roast lunch with extended family, it was excellent.

Cons:

Buffet breakfast was good but not excellent, parking felt limited, we had to try and find parks elsewhere in the hotel car park, not fun in the driving rain, recommend dedicated parks for rooms.

A short stay in paradise.
Pros:

Our Edgewater stay definitely ticked all the boxes and more!!! What a location and what a view from our lounge room. Many thanks for our upgrade, greatly appreciated.

Pros:

The hotel upgraded us to a suite which was very nice. They have a walking path outside their door this is a lovely trail around the lake.

Cons:

Would have preferred to stay a little closer to town

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely be back.
Pros:

Smooth and friendly check in on arrival. Excellent well equipped room with amazing view met all our expectations.
Special mention to Concierge George who helped us organise a fantastic flight to Milford Sound
