Fantastic location, meters from the center of town. It is an old olive mill which has been very sensitively modernized and extended. The gardens are wonderful with a lovely pool area. The hotel is part of a chain, but you wouldn’t know it. It feels like a boutique. The food and wine were very good.
Nothing really. Our room was maybe a bit on the small side with limited hanging space.
The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. the location was perfect and quality of the food excellent. It would be difficult to match the hotel for location, facilities and the welcome we received during our stay.
No real negatives to share - the hotel does not have dedicated parking, but it was never a problem to find a space close to the hotel.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang von der Reception, unkompliziertes Check In. Ebenso bei Abreise. Top!

A wonderful hotel in my favorite village in Provence
nothing
Lovely hotel with a great restaurant & helpful ataff
I was happy with everything
This hotel looked great on the website, but the reality was even better. Every aspect of the hotel was excellent. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and we were offered a complementary welcome drink when we arrived. Lourmarin is a very attractive village, but we were happy to spend most of our time in the hotel, enjoying the pool, garden and restaurant. Our bedroom wasn't terribly large but it was extremely comfortable and beautifully designed - great attention to detail, including complementary chocolate cicadas and interesting teas. The area around the pool was very attractive, and the garden was fully of pretty, shadier spots near a little stream (sometimes with one of the hotel cats for company). We were very impressed by the restaurant - we ate both nights in the charming well-shaded courtyard. The menu focuses on plates to share, all brought to the table at the same time. Every dish was beautifully prepared/cooked, using excellent fresh, local ingredients - such as heritage tomatoes. Portions were generous, and prices reasonable. The service was friendly and efficient. Breakfasts were also excellent, offering a varied selection of dishes to order (including different types of omelette and cheese or charcuterie selections) and an exceptionally good and varied buffet selection - different cakes were offered each day, alongside pastries, delicious local breads, interesting jams, homemade granolas and more.
These are very minor niggles:
Breakfast coffees sometimes not hot enough
I'd personally prefer more breakfast items - such as ham and cheese - to be on the buffet rather than having to be ordered individually
It was a bit tiresome having to complete a rather long online form on arrival and then be asked to specify exactly when we were checking out.

Everything small village vibe just regrated using booking.com bad customer service and was the only downside to our trip
just using booking.com bad customer service and was the only downside to our trip will never book with them again i am not recommended any other service just bad times with booking.com
Gorgeous property in a beautiful village. Rooms, pool area and restaurant were all very beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was nice that they had great A/C in the rooms and restaurant, which came in handy during the heatwave. We loved the food at the Bacheto restaurant and the breakfast was also great with amazing croissants.
There seemed to be a fly infestation at the hotel. Luckily there weren’t any flies in the bedroom but they were all over the check in area, restaurant and pool. It was odd because we didn’t see them anywhere else (bedrooms or in town).
Good location
Understaffed and no active management, poor checkin process or area, no gym, pool is tiny, lots of flies in the breakfast/restaurant room
This is a lovely hotel in a super little village. Our dinner was particularly good and eating outside was lovely. Being able to easily walk around the pretty village was a bonus. The staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was also good. Our room was lovely and clean.
I was somewhat disappointed with the size of our room versus the cost.
Fabulous hotel in a gorgeous village. It is located right in the heart of the town so an ideal location. The room was well equipped and luxurious.
