Disappointed in Hotels.com &Keys Caribbean rentals
Pros:

The ad for this villa described it as beachfront. It was not. The house was clean but just tired looking. Needs paint touch up and updates for the rate charged. Only one room with ceiling fans in FL Keys. The one ceiling fan was missing spots on the blades and it was in the guest bedroom not the main. Showers were disappointing with poor water pressure. The pool was too dirty to use. It had leaves but also algae on the bottom and steps. We had to call 4 times to get it cleaned and they came midday on our last day there. We ended up leaving a day early because of it. Not the way we wanted to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.

I do not recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in the 2- or 3-bedroom villas. We paid for a villa thinking we would have access to the hotel’s amenities, but you can’t use any of the facilities, not even the five pools they have. You are only allowed to stay inside your room.
It’s very disappointing and not transparent at all, since they never mention that renting a villa does not include access to the rest of the hotel. Definitely not worth the price they charge.

Worst company ever Key Caribbean
Pros:

I booked a vacation through Key Caribbean Company expecting a smooth and enjoyable experience, but it turned out to be disappointing .

The most upsetting part was that the company tried to charge me simply because I had a service animal. Not only is this unethical, but it also goes against established laws protecting people with disabilities. Instead of being accommodating, their staff made the situation stressful and uncomfortable.

Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating, and I would strongly advise others to avoid Key Caribbean Company. There are far more professional and trustworthy companies out there that respect their guests and honor their commitments

House was a sauna on arrival , frig was not turned on . Sent a message via vrbo no response for days . The balcony railing in the upstairs deck is loose , thank god I didn’t put my full weight on it . The pool was full of sediment , but felt great . The house was beautiful in a good location in the keys , I enjoyed having a good time with my friends . If you guys are charging $730 per night for this place y’all need to put some work Into this place .

Pros:

This property does NOT have access to Hawks Cay resort and pools. It does have a beautiful view of the water. However, it is billed as being have room for 6 but it is extremely tight. The interior needs updating. I would not return.

Pros:

The AC went out two days during our 4 night stay. The temperature in the unit was 85 both days, all day. They didn’t communicate about the repairs or moving us to a new unit unless we called and inquired for them. The soap dispensers weren’t filled. There was no ice maker, and when I called asking for ice trays they asked why: they were unaware the unit was without an ice dispenser. The internet was intermittent the last two days, so don’t plan to work much. Also, the hot tub in our unit broke while we were there. The food was good, though, and the food servers and AC repair men were nice.

Pros:

AC failed and was not repaired even until departure, this happened on our last night up to departure day. The sofa pillows are worn out..needs replacement as well as the dining chairs look dirty. Otherwise view is nice and bedrooms are clean and beds comfortable. Will I go back? NO unless I get at least a partial refund for having no AC with outside temp in the upper 90’s.

Nice Place, units need a bit of work.
Pros:

Overall, it’s the Florida Keys and it’s Duck Key, it’s a beautiful place to stay. The units are nice and total keys feel. Units are starting to show they need of some TLC. Coats of paint simply are doing it anymore. The wood decks are all showing signs of needing facelift. allot of the wood is showing signs of decay and rot. Some units units have fans and others dont, making it impossible to be outside during our time there. Our unit had water stains to the ceilings down stairs and the bedroom furniture was simply too big for the space and blocked the bathroom door.
Keys Caribbean was very attentive and did the best they could. Highly recommend their services.

The house was nice . Pictures of property match actual property.
Problem we had were iguanas would use the pool as a bathroom. Everyday we'd have to have the pool clean . But by the end of our stay we'd have to do it ourselves. Pool became milking looking and we didn't want to swim in it .

Pros:

The home was in a prime location in the Florida Keys. There were some minor problems with the house such as low water pressure to wash dishes and some of the showers, the pool had some hazards on the deck, and there were not many extra kitchen things, so coming from someone flying in from another state made it difficult to make dinners. We could have used spices, oils, and more dinnerware. Overall though we all would recommend and had a fabulous vacation.

Awesome stay, recommend
Pros:

Traveled with friends and family ...host was communicative but not over bearing. Quick replies and the townhouse was well kept, clean and inviting. Killer view in a perfect location. A plus all the way.
