Hampton Inn & Suites - Mansfield

Everything, staff was nice and breakfast was great.

The staff was PHENOMENAL,HOWEVER DO NOT let them place you in room 102. YOU WILL NOT SLEEP AT ALL. There seem to be an extended Stay guest in the room Directly above it WHO WILL RUN, BUMP & JUMP ALL NIGHT LONG. YOU WILL NOT GET A MOMENTS REST. You can hang up trying to sleep because you WILL BE Serenaded by someone running a marathon into the early morning. I LITERALLY HAD TO GET OUT OF BED AT 1AM AND GO TO THE FRONT DESK TO PLEA FOR HELP from the Insane amount of running ALL NIGHT. NEVER PUT ANYONE IN ROOM 102 as long as the EXTEND guest is still there. Other than not sleeping for 2days the staff is great.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The location was convenient as well. The complimentary full breakfast, evening cookies, and daily coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, were all great! I would stay here again!

“Friendly Staff and Clean Rooms, but Some Details Missed the Mark”

After a 12-hour drive, this was our final stop before reaching home. We had originally planned to stay in Wichita Falls, but decided to push on a couple more hours. Thankfully, we were able to cancel that reservation and still receive a refund—a welcome surprise after such a long day on the road.

When we arrived at the Hampton Inn in Mansfield, our first impression was a bit uncertain. We initially thought a person sitting outside might be a local passerby, but it turned out to be another guest. No one was at the front desk at first, but a sign explained that the clerk was assisting another guest. When he returned, he was professional, courteous, and quickly got us checked in.

The property was in the process of having the carpets cleaned, and several fans were running throughout the hallways. While it’s great to see the hotel taking care of maintenance, the hallways had an unpleasant odor—though thankfully, our room itself was clean and smelled fresh.

We asked for a dinner recommendation, and the front desk associate suggested a nearby restaurant within walking distance (through the adjoining parking lots). The food there was exceptional and a great tip after a long day’s drive.

Breakfast the next morning was delicious and well maintained. However, I noticed that the infused water station—something I look forward to at every Hampton—wasn’t as inviting as usual. It’s a small detail, but sometimes the little touches make a big difference in the guest experience.

Everyone we encountered was polite and helpful, and overall, our stay was pleasant. Still, given the price point and small details missed, I might consider other Hilton options in the area next time.

So we did not bring it to anyone’s attentions but the room across from us has the same issue. Breakfast was also great.

Loved our stay at the Boardwalk inn. The hotel was nice, and pretty clean. Our room was comfortable and pleasant, though there were a few stains on the carpet, and a little mold on the tub. The balcony was nice and faced the boardwalk, it was a little small but overall enjoyable. The staff was super friendly, and front desk staff was really nice and polite. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay, and plan to stay again when we visit.
