We are glad we visited the High Tatras and chose to stay at the Grand Kempinski.
Pros:

We loved the old world charm of the hotel. It is a lovely hotel located in a beautiful setting. We loved walking around the property and the lake which is right next to the property. The spa facilities were great with an awesome view of the mountains and lakes. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. All in all a very memorable stay.

Liked the whole experience.

Great location, wonderful facilities and fabulous staff who really go the extra mile, especially the reception staff. The room was beautiful and the spa was amazing.

Pros:

It is definitely an upscale experience and the law or really beautiful. The breakfast was delicious

Cons:

I found the room not completely comfortable. There was too much stuff everywhere. The bed was hard. The sound travels a lot - we were woken up very early by the people above us.

Das Frühstück ist sehr gut.
Die Zimmer sind erwartungsgemäß luxuriös.
Die Qualität des Essens und der Service sind sehr gut, allerdings ... (s.u.)
Die Bar ist gemütlich, die Cocktails sind fantastisch und der Service ist ausgezeichnet.
Das Schwimmbad ist sehr schön.

Cons:

Die Auswahl der Speisen abends ist zu klein. Für Vegetarier ist es schwierig, da auch das vegetarisch markierte Gericht Speck enthält. Das Fischgericht gibt es nur mit Fleischbestandteil. Die Preise der Gerichte sind viel zu hoch. Es fehlen Speisen im mittleren Preissegment.
Der SPA-Bereich ist langweilig.
