Pros:

Staff was great! They checked me in quickly and directed me to my room. The next day, they answered all my questions about the city and recommended places I might like. Suggested free bus route since I didn't have a rental. Great experience!

Cons:

The lighting in the parking lot could be brighter- it seemed a bit dim when I got in around 930pm.

Not the good value it used to be
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was in good shape and fun. The general level of cleanliness was good. We liked the beds a lot.

Cons:

You get what you pay for. I've stayed in this hotel several times prior and thought it was a good value. Not any more. Poor breakfast -- 100% carbs; boiled eggs and fruit were promised but never presented; no spoons in 5 days. Usually no pool towels at the pool and had to ask for them. Biggest problem was the AC unit: We had two rooms and had to change both at check-in. The AC units were dripping water down the wall. The room temperature was OK but it was always damp. Bathing suits and towels didn't dry out, the carpet felt damp. I would guess that the condensate drainage system was plugged and that humidity was staying in the rooms. Maybe these were new owners as things seemed loosely run in general.

Check in was easy and location was easy to find.

Cons:

The room could have been cleaner. It didn't appear that the carpeting was vaccumed because you could see pieces of "things" on the floor. Also, the carpet appeared to feel damp/wet. Not sure if that's because the air conditioning isn't/wasn't fully utilized prior to our arrival, or the floor was in fact just damp. I was expecting better from a facility attached to the Wyndam name.

Pros:

Location was great and close to everything. Breakfast was simple but good variety. AC in room kept it cold so it wasn't muggy. Pool and pool area was clean and pool temperature was good. Room was large. Water was very hot in shower.

Cons:

The furniture and carpet could be updated to be more modern.

Pros:

Certainly has an 80's vibe. We had a block of 7 rooms. Each room the beds sank in the middle, very visible. The beds were comfortable and the room appeared to be clean. For the money I thought it was over priced due to the minimal upgrades. Location is perfect, right before you get into the busy part of town.
