Residence Inn Marriott Moline

The property is well maintained, but worn out. Other than the nice mattress, the furniture was worn out, the sofa was not really usable as you'd sink down into it, the kitchen cabinets showed lots of wear and tear, etc. This property is in need of a major refresh.

Just a one-nighter, buy was very impressed with the accommodations. The suite was generous in size, the facility was up to date, the breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay at another Residence Inn.

Staff was great. Arriving late and getting out early every day and the staff was active and helpful.

Our room was very clean. We did arrive later in the evening, but the woman that checked us in wasn’t very friendly whatsoever. We were kept waiting for longer than probably necessary seeing as though there was no one else there.

Bad. Bed was lumpy. Room was marginally clean. Breakfast was awful. Broken coffee machine. Poorly cooked eggs. Whole place was dirty and run down.

Not enough parking, but other than that it was excellent!!!

Front desk receptionist was great. The bugs not so much! From the cockroaches with a dead bug in the entrace, and dead & crawling critters on the bed, I just couldn't stay.

Hotel was nice and everything was clean. Key cards stopped working multiple times. Room ran out of hot water, and we couldn’t control or turn the AC down. Got hot in the room at night.

When we arrived
Night 1- the room smelled like musky mildew, I had let management know but they said that there were no other rooms available, and best she could do would have housekeeping address the issue the following day.
Day 2- while we were out housekeeping had cleaned room and made the effort to address the smell, it had faded some but came back after a few hours.
Day 3- we bought some febreze air deodorizer, we sprayed a couple of times each of the remaining days we were there until smell was acceptable.
Day 3- air conditioning was malfunctioning and blowing air that got no cooler than a humid 79 degrees. I brought both the smell and ac problem up with management, she stated that she would be glad to move us to another room, but by this time we only had less than a day left in our stay and we had several suitcases of clothing and miscellaneous, and did not think it would be the efficient thing to do at the time. They also said that they would send the maintenance team to take a look at the AC, that maybe it had frozen over, but no one ever showed up.
The morning we left the ac started working in its own, and my wife and I were able to do what staff could not, which was neutralize the odor. The staff was nice, but it just seemed nothing ever got done, which made our stay there less than pleasant.

Friendly staff at check in. Clean room and overall common areas. Nice breakfast with plenty of choices. Only disappointment was that their hot tub was out of order, although they notified us if that prior to check in (by email).

Staff was great. Cleaning needs to be better. Breakfast was good.

While it appeared clean, my room apparently had bed bugs. When I got home the next night I was covered in bites. Terrible experience

Very accommodating.

We checked in around 10pm, so granted that was late, but the room we initially got was not turned over by maid service, so we had to go back to get a new room. Front desk staff was perfectly nice and apologized. The following day there was no hot water left to take a full shower. Overall was disappointed.

It was amazing. I will stay again. Room was clean, spacious and as pictured. The lady who checked us in was very very nice! Great breakfast.

Ideal place to rest while traveling. Breakfast was great.

The hotel was perfect! Well kept and updated. Our room was fabulous and the bed very comfy. But the best part of our trip was Coleen. She was staffing the front desk and when we got there for our concert there were no Ubers or Lyfts available. She heard our distress and volunteered to drive us to the concert herself once her shift was over. She took us straight to the front door and couldn’t have been friendlier. Our whole trip was saved thanks to her. One of the nicest people we have ever met.

The front door staff was terrific. They were very kind and friendly and informative. Made some terrific recommendations about places to go for dinner and things to see in the area.

However, as nice as the room was, the desk lamp was missing a bulb altogether, the lamp next to the couch had a bulb that was very loose and not working. I was able to fix that myself.

The pool is being serviced and I was told it will take an entire month to fix it. (Not sure what could take a month to fix a small swimming pool?). Anyway, that was a very big letdown.

There are no USB ports in the room. That is something I would come to expect these days at any hotel.

The fitness room is kind of a joke. One treadmill with a belt that is held together with duct tape, and another treadmill that I am not sure even works. It is not the same fitness room I saw in the picture on their website.

Back to the positives....Their coffee is delicious, and they have a very nice breakfast buffet. They offer abundant free parking, and their prices are fair, but remember you get what you pay for...Including noisy post-midnight neighbors.
