Hotel worth to chose
Pros:

​We spent one night at this hotel, booking two rooms. The rooms were clean and equipped with air conditioning, and the beds were comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast offered a really great variety. The ladies at the front desk were extremely lovely and ready to help whenever needed. Due to our late arrival, the main hotel parking lot was full, but we managed to figure something out. The drive to the hotel wasn't bad, even though Essen was full of roadworks. Overall, it's a nice hotel and definitely worth recommending for a stopover during a trip.

Cons:

​A small note regarding Booking.com: Upon arrival, we had to pay an extra €7 for the city tax and €7 for parking for an already fully paid reservation. This information should have been clearly stated in advance.

Good location for a festival weekend in the city
Pros:

It is close to the train station
The room was incredibly spacious, the beds comfortable and in general what one needs for a weekend in the city. Clean as well..

Cons:

The area around the train station is under construction, so nothing with the hotel but just annoying to walk through the construction area

Pros:

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit interessanter Gestaltung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Begrüßungsgetränk fand ich auch schön, vor allem weil wir auf dem Weg zu einem Konzert waren. Die Verbindung per ÖPNV zu allen Konzerten an diesem Abend waren sin der Lobby ausgehängt, toller Service.

Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Begrüßungstrunk und freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Einheitlich durchgefließtes Haus, dadurch das Zimmer ungemütlich. Sofa und Schrank nicht sauber.

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.
Pros:

Ich wurde bei Anreise sehr herzlich an der Rezteption mit einem Freigetränk empfangen.
Mein Einzelzimmer, welches schön groß war, lag zum Hof und war daher ziemlich ruhig gelegen. Es gab eine sehr gut funktionierende Klimaanlage, einen ausreichenden Kleiderschrank und ein Bett von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Das Bad mit Dusche war funktionell. Alles war sehr ordentlich und sauber. Es gab ein sehr umfangreiches Frühstück.

Cons:

Der Fahrstuhl hat leider nicht funktioniert, was mich nicht weiter gestört hat. Aber Gäste mit Behinderung hätten vielleicht ein Problem damit.

Pros:

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer ist schön ausgestattet. Im ganzen Haus hängen interessante Gemälde. Gut gefallen hat uns auch die Tiefgarage. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Wir waren nur zu Fuß unterwegs. Wer nicht mit dem Auto kommt, der Bahnhof ist auch nicht weit entfernt.

Convenient short stay near bahnhof
Pros:

1. The hotel is closer to the bahnhof
2. Staff is attentive and responsive
3. Room had a balcony which was very convenient
4. Room service was provided daily

Cons:

1. Wifi was not working on both the days due some road maintenance work. But this was not in control of the hotel and is understandable.
