Overpriced for what it was

Never booking a holiday inn again . Been put off !!

Oh dear this place has really lost its mojo
Pros:

The hotel is well situated close to the castle. Raj and the woman at the bar in the evening are fantastic.

Cons:

Sinks don't drain, toilets don't flush, water boiling hot from tap on 7th floor plus smelled of cleaning fluid causing my wife's face to erupt after a quick rinse. Rooms had no Air con or heating so we were given a tiny radiator which took ages to heat the room. Required extra Duvets as place freezing. The hotel looks tired. Only two staff are on in the evenings. So disappointed as this was our 4th or 5th stay and now our last. The place has gone down hill so much it is a real shame. I feel sad for the staff who are fielding the guest complaints but unable to do anything to rectify this terrible situation.
