Bad Customer service not breakfast or restaurant

The staff were great. Being right on the beach park was fun... lots of space to have a walk. Its beside the river. Lots of birds and wildlife. Id definitely stay here again.

Absolutely incredible stay. Probably the best beachfront hotel available in Jaco Beach. The staff are extremely kind and helpful and the pools are epic. I will say that the only challenge is the WiFi if you are in one of the rooms closer to the beach. Small price to pay though!! Beach Volleyball court also in front of fun surf. Go here for sure

Fuimos en familia (2 adultos y 2 niños) y quedamos encantados. El hotel está recién renovado, todo muy limpio y bonito. Las 4 piscinas fueron lo mejor para los chiquillos, y tener acceso directo a la playa es un lujo. En la noche se escucha el mar desde la habitación, súper relajante.

Nuestra habitación tenía 2 camas queen, refri y coffee maker. Buen parqueo, ambiente tranquilo, personal muy amable… y lo mejor: el precio está buenísimo para todo lo que ofrece.
Sin duda volveríamos. Recomendado.

Very peaceful. Perfect for families

the cleaning lady or someone with a key stole a $200 flat hair straightener and a bottle of perfume. i asked for clean towels while i was gone. later i return to no towels but missing items. so hide your valuables.

Location was great, property is nice. The toilet was leaking. Floor flooded

No one is at the front desk. I’ve been here for 30 minutes. This place is garbage l, do not come here

Rustic charm at a great price. We just stayed for 4 nights with a group of 6 that needed 4 rooms. We checked in on different dates, after hours, and the staff did not miss a beat. They communicated via email and were accommodating and responsive.
The ground are awesome. The pictures are on their site are exactly as the place looked a week ago. One minute walk to the beach. Easy walk to Jaco on the road or on the sand. Amazing staff. Big rooms. Two pools. Lots of outdoor spots to sit and chill in the shade. Staff is attentive and really wants you to enjoy your stay.
This place is still recovering from the pandemic and the swim up bar and restaurant are all still closed but it didn't really matter. There is plenty within walking distance including The Point restaurant just across the inlet. Great spot as well. Jet Fuel is a 10 minute beach walk into Jaco for coffee and a 24 hour Soda nearby as well. If you go south from Beach Break you can walk to a dozen restaurants right on the sand.
We walked past several other hotels that cost more and were not impressed. Do not expect the Ritz. The rooms are a little worn. We did compare between us who got plastic cups, who had better lights, and who had a clothesline in their weird little back patio but to be honest, I'd much rather have a quirky fun spot with staff who appreciate you then a fancy hotel with snobs. It was like going to camp and I am 100% planning to stay there again on my next trip.

Nice but needs a bit of an upgrade

This I quote, named resort vacation stay is most definitely a motel & nothing more. Yes, convientley located on the beach, within a short walk to Jacó, however the price was the only bonus with no ice machine on the premises. The beach is covered in debris they do not clean(Unlike the other resorts around). The pool was nice, but located beside an unfuctioning bar & restaurant that looks like it needs immeasurable work. After having our room cleaned ONCE(in 16 days) & giving a generous tip & large bag of candy to the maids, they reported us for smoking in the room which we did not do. It should be known, that we have knowledge from local friends, that we were wrongly charged for "smoking" in the room when we were clearly not, having been seen by security & owner carrying our own personally purchased ashtray to the designated area & public beach. Before charging us, the proper authorities should have been involved. The owner/manager "Shannon" (who is Canadian as we are), She was nice I guess however she was just out for money. knowing she would have been charged a fee if we were smoking along with being able to charge us. However she knew we were not smoking & wanted money so thinking we wouldn't know or find out, she just charged our card and avoided us. Additionally we did notice that our room was infested with termites which was a loosing battle to clean up, as it seemed each time we cleaned it there was 10× more 20 min later. There was also white fuzzy mold in the tile grout growing under our bed & in our bathroom, which also has a leaking wall when raining & it rained alot, like way more then usual for this time of year. When we packed our suit case we found mold growing on the outside of it. We tried to talk to staff about the termites & mold but were completely ignored. The gentleman at front desk, even after I translated to spanish what I was saying, shrugged his shoulders. Wouldn't recommend this wrongfully named motel.

2 cups in a room for 5, without any Spion or similar. No food or drinks offerred anywhere. Defenetly Not a Resort!

The microwave plug does not fit to the Wall.
The Glas shower door broken , and almost Not possible to open.

No reply on Mails for 10 days for early check out. No customer Service at All...
Also nothing for Surfing. No rental or similar...

the girl at the front was nice but they didn’t offer towels for the beach or any basic toiletries in the rooms like shampoo or body washes.
Only one towel per room and we were told that we’re required to use the same showering towel as a pool towel and beach towel. Fees for late check out and per person. The only open Food places in the morning were about 7-10 minutes walking distance. Property was clean but the rooms are very basic and considered to be a 2.5 star hotel. Restrooms had an odd smell. Hospitality could be improved to be more welcoming and provide the basics for people without so many fees or limitations… and maybe post a disclaimer about not having a bar or food onsite.
