Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cherokee / Casino by IHG

Our room was basically in the lobby!! Right beside the breakfast are, can you imagine the sounds at 5:00 am!!

The hotel is fairly run down. The room was not that clean. The carpet was kind of damp and there was some kind of mold in the second sink (the one that is outside of the bathroom). The staff wasn’t super friendly except for the ones that were running the breakfast area in the morning. They were very nice and helpful. The breakfast itself was decent too, there’s a good selection.

Good location. Easy to find.

Clean just old. Drains not great. AC musty. Great bedding and pillows and beds. Great staff

Clean and staff friendly. Bed mattress was not great for a king size mattress. Needs to be updated, and inside shower floor was chipping due to wear and tear. Otherwise okay to stay for the short time.

Check in was good… we stayed on the 1st floor an we heard a lot of bumping an movement on floor above us I took some points off cause of the housekeeping they were horrible they came in our room without knocking they didn’t respect of privacy at all.. but other thank that my stay was great

Good price, good room, good staff. Liked everything except I was bummed that the pool was closed the whole time.

Tile on the base of bathroom cracked and almost falling off. Bath tub is peeling away. The layer of resin on the tub is wearing and needs to be repaired.. The king bed needs to be replaced. When I laid down on it the bed I immediately felt gravity pull me to the center of the bed due to it being broken. Either was the base of it or the mattress that was worn. It was squeaky.. plus on the head board there was a splash of something on their not sure what it was.

Good location across the street from the casino. Ample parking. Only negative was card reader for entry into the motel from rear parking lot was malfunctioning. Staff was aware of problem because they told me at check in. Stayed three nights and still not repaired.
