- Ice machine not far from our rooms
- Friendly and welcoming staff
- 16th birthday platter was a lovely touch, thank you!
- breakfast was chaotic
- Not enough staff available to take specific orders (e.g. omelette)
- fill ups at breakfast slow
- not a broad selection of food
The staff welcoming us at the reception was great(Karim) , as a French speaker , we had a great conversation and made our check in very smooth. He explained everything in detail making it easier to understand
The fact that kid under 3 can't use the pool but I understand their policy
Breakfast was lovely and the dining area was quiet and restful.
I had booked our rooms with Booking.com and got a set rate. My husband didn't realise and paid over £200 more than I was quoted. It meant both of us paid which was very confusing and nothing showed on your system that a mistake had been made. The receptionist said my husband's payment was taken as a guarantee but my card was already on the system as a guarantee.
Room good , hotel deco nice swimming pool bonus, reception staff very friendly and helpful
Nothing
Its decor, steam, sauna, jacuzzi and pool facilities
For kids, we had to book a slot to use swimming pool but the app didn’t work correctly, causing a few issues but were resolved by FOH manager.
The bar and restaurant were pleasant. Breakfast was a little chaotic and staff seemed preoccupied with other matters. For instance I ordered porridge and after waiting 15 minutes I asked where it was. Was told the kitchen was busy. Eventually the porridge arrived but was cold.
The location was isolated. Could not walk into Marlow consequently.
The disabled parking was usually not available.
Great bed
Not anything
I loved the location of the hotel. It has a lake and loads of space for taking walks and for children to have fun. The breakfast selection was absolutely amazing with cold and hot options for food.
The room was big enough but did not have a stand-alone study table/desk. The was a built in worktop against the wall which meant that I could not change my sitting position when the sun was directly on my laptop screen. The only way to resolve that issue was to close the curtains, which was not ideal.
Breakfast was great!
It was our wedding day, so we arrived early at the hotel to leave our bags. I had rang before to check if these bags could be put in our rooms as it was our wedding day and we wouldn’t be back until about midnight, the lady on the phone said this was fine.
So I explained this to the man at reception, he could not have cared less. I explained the situation, that my wife would be in her dress, we would have my elderly parents, and my 5 year old daughter and that I was only asking if the bags could be put in our room as the lady on the phone had said it was ok.
He actually laughed and said no chance! So after a long day, at midnight when we got back ( a much friendly chap on reception) gave us our bags.
If you want to feel special, don’t bother going here, they act as if any requests are putting them out.
Lovely rooms
Clean and warm
Nice spa
Restaurant
Food was very expensive and not that good
Good location, plenty of parking, spacious comfortable, quiet & clean room. Breakfast & dinner included and would recommend dining in their restaurant.
Swimming pool overly busy for our spa experience. Didn’t get opportunity to use pool because of this but treatment was great.
The swimming pool facility was great as was the cafe. The room was comfortable and bathroom was lovely.
The room keys kept stopping working and all the staff did was replace them and then the lady who worked in the spa had to tell me some sort of method that you need for using the keys which seemed daft. The room also wasn’t serviced even though we left the sign off whilst we were out.
