Excellent warm friendly staff, could not have been more helpful and flexible looking after us. Super Welsh breakfast too
Pros:

Very welcoming on entry, a classic Welsh hotel/inn. Proper period hotel with a lot of original features.

Cons:

Only aspect was the shower could have been slightly better but then it is an old building. No complaints.

IN NEED OF MAJOR REFURBISHMENT!
Pros:

Friendly staff, good bar area’s though expensive for what it is.Location good & free parking.Very good breakfast!

Cons:

Breakfast a little late at 7.30am, place pretty rundown and in need of a major refurbishment! Not a hotel more a pub with rooms.£100 for single traveler I felt was too high!

3 decent ales on in the bar and the food was fantastic!
Pros:

The quirky little town

Cons:

Parking was limited, but this was more due to an event on the day as opposed to what the hotel has to offer. Just unfortunate really.

Enjoyable stay in a lovely old town
Pros:

Good breakfast, nice to have omelette as a change from the usual "full English". Staff were friendly and helpful, good choice of four cask ales and a reasonably priced restaurant. We particularly valued being able to store our bikes securely overnight.

Cons:

Our room was very warm, but by leaving the window wide open, switching on the fan and removing the duvet from its cover, we slept well.

Wonderful stay!
Pros:

This is my 3rd visit to the Dragon, and every time it just gets better and better! Staff here are amazing! Maya(??) was the perfect host and server, so polite and always had a smile! But have to say a special thank you to Simon and the lady on reception (sorry I forgot your name!) Simon came over at 10pm as my towel radiator was stuck on, and it was about 30 degrees in my room in the middle of a heatwave. Moved me to another room without quibble, couldn't do enough to make my stay as comfortable as possible! Would I come here again? As many times as they would have me!
