Good breakfast with pleasant service. The room was large and well furnished with a large bathroom but was reached by several flights of stairs which were steep on the top flight.
Too many stairs to room. No over bath shower, just a spray

Not as expected from photos. Bar not open due to staffing resource. Room not as good as hoped for. Whilst an old property with its quirks the furnishing and decor looked tired. Same for rest of hotel.

We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend it to other families. The family room was incredibly spacious, beautifully furnished and very comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone.
The hosts were exceptional, genuinely friendly, welcoming and attentive, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was excellent and great value for money.We also really enjoyed the lounge area. It was a lovely space to relax together in the evening and have some family time after a day out.
Overall, a wonderful stay, excellent hospitality and great value for money. We would definitely stay again!

The metal winding staircase up to our room, made carrying a suitcase quite tricky.

Room smelt as did landings floors squeaking coffee machine couldn’t work out how to use it Wi-Fi not strong enough signal to be able to use the hotel needs updating

Didn’t really like much. A lovely old house but let down by cleanliness, service , no WiFi and poor breakfast.

Our second visit and again we weren’t disappointed. Great hotel in good location. Room spacious and clean. Breakfast delicious with plenty of choice. Good car parking.
