Money over Safety
Pros:

Spent a Wednesday and Thursday night at this hotel in late August. I was traveling with my 10 yr old daughter, so I chose it specifically for the water park which my daughter enjoyed. Every staff member I encountered was professional and kind. My problem arose during the early morning of our last night. An unnoticed water leak in the ceiling created a puddle of water on the floor sometime during the night. When I woke up around 2am to use the bathroom I slipped and fell. Hurting my left hip and lower back. I tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room didn’t work. I notified the front desk attendant when I was checking out at 8 am he stated that the room I was assigned never should have been rented. I called and spoke to the GM as soon as I got in my car. I asked for an incident report and a full refund, but have yet to receive either. After reading other guest reviews it seems there have been ongoing issues with the plumbing at this particular hotel.

We had to switch rooms by my request due to heavy paint fumes as they painted in this room earlier in the day with ZERO extra ventilation. Then we tried to get extra things for the next room like pillows and blankets. We were unable to Parking is a joke like big time joke. Tried speaking to the manager and she refused to talk to me many times. Finally Marcus made the deal. He got us a room so no one had to sleep in the worlds worst pull out couch. He deserves a managerial position. Eddie also tried hard. I need a refund on my down graded rooms. Which I’m sure I’ll never see.

Pros:

The staff were friendly and the bar tender and the burger place , Jason , was amazing!! The hotel was right by the venue so we got to just walk. Very clean and quiet

Probably wouldn’t stay again but we enjoyed the waterpark.
Pros:

The waterpark was fun, but definitely dated and not very clean. Enjoyed the free coffee.

Cons:

The facility overall was pretty rundown. The waterpark is great but again, run down. The breakfast buffet was a joke, for $15 per person. It should be included in the cost. Hardly any staff around to help out.

We would not recommend.
Pros:

There was nothing we loved about this hotel. We wanted a hotel with a pool for our kids.

Cons:

1. They gym had all of their treadmills, stair stepper, and elliptical out of order. Nothing worked. 2. The mattresses, pillows and comforters were not very comfortable...woke up with a back ache both days. 3. The pool area pictures online were a lot different than in person. 4. Hotel wasn't very clean. 5. I went to get coffee in the lobby one morning and most of the creamer was gone and lids were empty. Literally dug around under the coffee stand and found lids for myself while the manage was walking around on her phone. 6. The arcade games ate multiple quarters...some of the games worked. 7. The air conditioner was loud. 8. It sounded like someone was running upstairs above our heads until late into the night. We will choose somewhere else next time.

Will never stay there again.
Cons:

I was very disappointed. The floors in my room weren't clean. The elevators weren't clean. The guy in the restaurant had to wait on all customers, cook, serve, cash out, and run the yogurt shop. I left at 7:30 the next morning, parked in the front because they wanted to charge me to park in the back. Loading my car the front door was locked had to go through the restaurant to get back into the hotel. One tv in my room was unplugged. The other one the remote didn't work, therefore I had to listen to a spanish station all night never could switch channels. My stay was very uncomfortable. I did take a picture of crumbs left on the side of the table.

Pros:

Less than desirable. Female at check in was very rude, could not get housekeeping to service our room during multiple night stay, restaurant was understaffed, however he was very friendly, ice cream shop was very over priced.
If the staff and housekeeping was more pleasant and willing to help, price is worth it, but when staff is rude and can’t get housekeeping, it just makes it seem like a joke for what you pay.

The Waterpark was a blast!

Cons:

The pull out bed was uncomfortable and unfortunately broken. Also the Burger place in the lobby was all frozen food, Not worth the $$$.

Short drive to zoo

Cons:

Rooms reeked of smoke (hotel claimed they were a smoke free hotel), windows opened up to balcony that connected to every room on that floor had no locks on them.

Had to pay for parking.
Waterpark was a joke. Holes in the floor of the kids area.
