Overall it was a good stay. Clean and comfortable.
Pros:

It was clean and convenient.

Cons:

No one at the front desk, no phone in the room, no refrigerator. The room at to be clean by a certain time otherwise you missed cleaning. We stayed for 3 nights never got the room cleaned we did self service. Asked for towels towel paper and took tea and coffee from breakfast.

Cameron being able to follow my accent was just 🌟
evan with his hearing a fine gentleman r a great actor 😆 either was a joy ro be round
polite courteous and perfect balance of friendly ness and professionalism

Lucy and kamilla the same allwayes smiling and so welcoming evan when there patience is being tested 😆(I have a thick scotish accent it can have that affect on ppl )

they went above and beyond to assist not only me but everyone I witessed them come into contact with

witnessing an attempted robbery being so vigilant was out in no time to protect a customer's van

His vigelance and bravery shoukd be rewarded with more than our thanks and attempted gifts he politely turned down

Old Home
Pros:

A place that used to be “home” a few years ago when I lived out of the area.

Nothing has changed and that’s a good thing. Perfectly clean hotel in good condition and, even though my room was facing the M65, the secondary glazing meant I didn’t hear a thing. Air conditioned room too which worked well.

Lovely greeting on arrival from a familiar face and a bar that had enough options ahead of heading out. Loads of on-site parking and good wi-fi.

Didn’t manage breakfast the next morning which would have been usual standard HI Express offer.
