This hotel needs new management.

The only great thing about this place is the location- obviously - for Outlander fans. That’s about it…

Cons:

The staff was terrible. When I asked about how to turn up the heating the lady said: I don’t know I’ve only been working here for three weeks (three weeks should be enough for that but okay) said she will ask and never got back to us. The bed springs were sticking out, rusty, dirty and moldy bathroom (black mold mind you), loud noise from outside ventilation. Horrible. We booked 2 nights, but managed to stay only one and had to book different hotel nearby. The restaurant offers train station food quality and your clothes will smell like used cooking oil after 30 minutes. Such a shame. For this location and the tourism traffic - able management could make this absolutely amazing memorable place to stay. So sad. Wish I could get my money back.

Lovely break, would definitely recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Very Cosy room with plenty of space for families, Directly opposite Falkland Palace which was a bonus.

Magnifique village
Pros:

Belle chambre refaite avec goût. La salle de bain était propre et fonctionnel. Le personnel très sympathique. Le souper et petit déjeuner très bons et copieux. L'hotel se situe juste devant la fontaine du fantôme de Jaimie mais il ne faut pas en rester là, le village de Fakland est magnifique et vaut la peine de s'y ballader.

Cons:

L'insonorisation, il y a un bar en dessous et nous avions l'impression d'y être assis depuis la chambre. Sinon rien à redire.

Dissappointing
Pros:

From advertising we had expected the room to be the same as in the Outlander series however only the outside of the building was as expected. The location was great.

Cons:

That the room did not meet expectations. If we had known how small and shabby it was we would have stayed elsewhere and just driven to this location to experience the setting and outside of this establishment.

Pros:

Pour les fan d'Outlander c'est un endroit parfait. Le personnel est tres gentil, on y mange un excellent petit déjeuner. La literie est confortable et le petit village tres charmant. Je ne peux que recommander.
Ps : on y mange aussi tres bien le soir

Estancia fantástica.
Pros:

Me gustó todo; personal, ubicación, instalaciones, limpieza,...El desayuno excepcional. El sitio es acogedor, la habitación enorme y la cama comoďísima. Una pena que no me tocara la habitación outlander. :)

Cons:

Por decir algo que la ducha tuviera solo el difusor del techo.

Underbart, mysigt ställe och det ger det en extra dimension om man har en förkärlek till Outlander

Mycket bra "A´la carte-frukost med flera alternativ, både vanliga och vegetariska. Service vid bordet av trevlig och tillmötesgående personal.
