It was somewhere to stay but won’t be rushing back.
Pros:

Location for the stadium is excellent and it’s on a main bus route into the city. The staff were lovely.

Cons:

It’s very tired, the whole place needs updating and the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable either. All the floorboards and doors creak loudly. The shower is very noisy and goes from cold to scalding. Breakfast is on a small side plate and basic. The bar wasn’t open during our 2 night stay.

Short and memorable for the wrong reasons. A two Star rating for the hotel would be more appropriate
Pros:

Staff were polite and friendly. Rooms and bed linen were clean.
Breakfast was freshly cooked.
Staff were helpful when we left early due to illness.

Cons:

Decor dated and in need of refreshment.
Shared bathroom facilities were in need of maintenance/updating.
Breakfast choice limited and it felt as though fruit juice was watered down.

Es war nahe am Flughafen und daher hatte es für uns an dem Tag eine gute Lage, der Fug ging um 5:45 Uhr morgens.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und war die 200Euro für das Zimmer nicht wert.
Im August waren allerdngs so viele Veranstaltungen in Edinburgh, dass dieses Hotel den Preis nehmen konnte.

Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück in Ordnung.

Cons:

Das Hotel benötigt dringend eine Renovierung. Es ist sehr hellhörig. Für den Preis doch sehr einfacher Standard.

We came for my mum but to watch the Edinburgh Tattoo for our first time and had a great time.
Pros:

The rooms were clean except for the room my parents stayed in when she pulled her bed out there was food down the side of hers which had been there for a little while!! But other than that the staff were extremely friendly, helpful couldn't have asked anymore from them. The hotel is in a great location, bus stops outside which takes 15 mins into Edinburgh city perfect!!!

Cons:

The adults Fried breakfast was a kids portion rather than an adults portion!!Fried tomato on breakfast was a slice of fresh tomato instead!!
My mum pulled her bed out and there was all good down the side of it, which looked like it had been there for a while!! The beds creeked and the overall Hotel could do with a touch of paint.

Wären meine Englischkenntnisse besser gewesen wäre ich dort NIE 2 Nächte geblieben.
Pros:

Die Beseitzerin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Vor dem Hotel ist direkt eine Bushaltestelle.
Parkmöglichkeiten sind, begrenzt, vorhanden. Trotz reservierung - keinen erhalten.

Cons:

Ich kann in keinster Weise verstehen wie jemand diese Hotel positiv bewertet.
Es riecht im ganzen Hotel muffig. Das komplette Mobiliar in unserem 3 Bett-Zimmer ( Nr. 6 ) war kaputt.
Ich rede nicht von ein paar Abnutzungsspuren.
Das Bett war notdürftig hingefuscht. Es hat total gequitsch, bei jeder Drehung. Auf dem Kissen befanden sich Haare.
Es gab einen "Schrank" Regal ohne Böden mit ausgerissener Rückwand und loser Kleiderschiene.
Die Lampen wurden mit Klebeband zusammen gehalten. Die Vorhänge an dem Fenster hingen teilweise runter, da die Aufhängung ab war.
Auf der Heizung befand sich extrem viel Staub, Rost und Dreck.
Risse in den Wänden.
Nun zum Bad
Hier bestand ekel pur.
Die Fliesen über dem Türeingang hatten sich abgelöst und wurden dann mit Klebeband wieder angeklebt ( bzw, vor dem runterfallen gesichert ).
Die Heizung im Bad war auch rostig und dreckig genauso wie die Ablage für das Duschzeug.
Die Klobrille war gerissen und mit Klebeband geflickt.
Die Duschtür lies sich nicht ganz schließen da sie auch mit Klebeband geflicktwurde.
Die Fugen wiesen alle Dreck sowie Schimmel auf.
Die Badezimmertür klemmte.
Es gab weder im Bad noch im Zimmer ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten für 3 Personen, nicht mal für 2!
Das Licht war mehr als sparsam. Vielelicht gut so, sonst hätten wir noch mehr entdeckt.
Frühstück
Der Raum ist sehr klein.
Alles sehr altbacken. Auf den Stühlen liegen Sitzpolster. Diese waren so dreckig. Ich wollte sie entfernen doch darunter klebte es eckelig.
Frühstück war nicht genießbar. Hatte sorge mir den Magen zuverderben.
Am zweiten Tag haben wir dort gar nicht gefrühstückt.
Keine Ahnung warum Booking.com dieses Hotel auf ihrer Seite hat :-(

Das Zimmer war so klein, dass sich eine Person in den Schrank stellen musste um eine andere Person vorbeizulassen.
Im "Bad" blühte der schwarze Schimmel, Isolierband hielt die Armaturen. Absolut unhygienisch!
