Pros:

The staff were friendly, the room was great and clean, the shower was amazing and the breakfast was very good. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that has a route right into the centre of Edinburgh.

Cons:

Very basic rooms but expected for three star. Some cleaning needed in bathroom.
Breakfast very greasy, cheap items of food. All cooked in same fat so beware if a veggie. Served tepid

Good staff and location, great breakfast, but in need of modernisation, esp. bathroom.
Pros:

Very helpful, polite, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast - fruit, cereal, toast, tasty hot breakfast cooked freshly to each guest's specifications. Bed comfortable. Desk, lamp, kettle etc available, though room small and furnishing very basic.

Cons:

I booked a single room with a shared bathroom. The bathroom was rather old-fashioned, with a complicated-looking bath-shower facility I didn't feel like using, in need of updating. Room also fairly basic, but adequate for a night.

I'm surprised this very old house is even on your site.
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

Bedroom window didn't lock or operate properly.
Bedroom light was hanging off the ceiling.
Shower water pressure non existent.
Shower door had to be held shut why you showered.
Breakfast juice was squash not juice.
Croissants were stale.
Bedroom door did not appear to be a fire rated door.
