Rosedale Inn

The room was very dirty and awfully bad. Many things were not working. Bath tub was very dirty. Wash basin was clogging. Soaps and toiletries were century okd materials.

The microwave plate didn’t fit the microwave so it made a bunch of noise when using.

The room was dirty and gross: there was a dirty glass and food in the “kitchenette” sink; the wallpaper was curling over the fireplace; there was duct-tape holding the edge of the rug down; the floor lamp was rickety; the two chairs were grossly stained and worn; the valances and bed skirt had rips and filth on them; the bathroom had rotten baseboards and molding with large gaps; the “jacuzzi” had dark stains and the grout was missing and/or moldy in places; the bed was swaybacked and sad; the pillows lumpy; the window in the bathroom had a broken latch - once it was open it could not be closed; the room windows had screens that allowed mosquitos and other insects into the room - I did not stay and the have not responded to my request for a refund.

The room was clean, but several items were pretty shop worn, and in need of repair.

Paid for a fireplace, but it didn't work.

Cable TV was a joke. Staff was absolutely zero help.

Outdated rooms
Tv was small and from the 2008 era. No netflix or any streaming apps on it. Old. Jacuzzi tub took forever to fill and temp wasn't very hot.

location

I was locked out of my room due to accidentally leaving my card key in the room. I tried calling the number on the door over 40 times and got no answer. I knocked on the front office door and the back office door for over 15 minutes. In the morning I found out from another attendant that there was no one at the hotel after hours and the phones were not transferred over. My best friend I was with had her medications in the room that had to be taken. I tried to open the window and ended up accidentally breaking it and I was then able to get back into the room. This whole experience was very scary and unfortunately ruined our whole stay.

TV in bedroom did not work. Fireplace was not in front of bed as in photo, and there was only one chair in bedroom. Sofa in living room hard and with visible tear; unusable. Spa tub chipped. I also thought breakfast was included with the high price for a night. I now realize I was there for the car rally day, hence the inflated room rate, but that was not my purpose. Room needs updating for the cost. We expected to sit in bed and watch TV.

The room was large, but the furniture needs updating. Carpet old. Closet door knob fell off. Shelf in closet heavily warped. The bath tub/ shower was old and discolored which made it appear to be dirty. The electrical outlets need updating because phone charging plugs were very loose so plug would fall out. The grounds were not kept up. The steps and landing leading to rooms were dirty. Spilled drink stains etc.

Rooms were pretty run down, peeling wallpaper, jacuzzi very marred. Outlets couldn't hold plugs, bathroom lights rusty. My sister's room had a three legged sofa and the view of property from our windows were very unkempt.

It's a little rundown the tub didn't hold water, there was peeling wallpaper with black mold behind it
