The hotel needs to revise its procedures

Close to downtown

Cons:

You have to stop on a busy street to unload and enter the hotel. The heat in our room did not work and it took the front desk staff to call a manager at home to authorize giving us another room. I don’t blame the front desk staff but they should not have had to call a manager at home to give us another room.

Pros:

The room is very comfortable and spacious, which allowed me to unwind after a long day in the conference I was attending. Staff are very helpful; a shoutout to Tara, for being so kind and welcoming even after I had a problem with my card before check-in. She made sure I was ok and told me I could sit in the waiting area while I tried to sort out my issue. Everyone was generally very helpful and offered me tips for the city.

Cons:

The location of the hotel is close to the Philadelphia City Center and to the Reading Market, but it can feel a bit unsafe at night. Not fault of the hotel, of course, but something to be aware of.

Good value for money, excellent location.
Pros:

The beds were very comfortable. The location is amazing, very central. The room was clean overall. It was really convenient being able to drop off our luggage at the storage before check-in and after check-out.

Cons:

The walls were super thin, we could hear both of the rooms next to us very clearly and loudly. Check-in was disappointing, there was only one staff member working during peak check-in time; so, people had to wait a long time. Since we didn't want to wait, we left during the peak time and came back a few hours later to check-in.
