Great stay comfortable rooms quiet close to Cavendish attractions

would not recommend in off season

Considering that the hotel was closing up for the year, they were still very accommodating. Everything was great, close to Avonlea attractions but not too close.

We stayed here following a day of golf and it was the perfect spot to relax. It was the end of the season, so the place was very quiet. We walked a very short distance to a local restaurant for dinner, another lovely experience. The staff were very accommodating in putting the whole group of us close by each other. The staff we very friendly and helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Front desk staff made the stay great. The rooms are outdated but clean. I’d stay again solely because of the employees. The view was also pretty great.

The room are large but the are old.

We loved the upgrade to a king room. however it did advertise a microwave in the room, we did not have one in ours.
The front desk gentleman when we arrive was so nice and friendly. Enjoys his position.
We had trouble with our door when returning from dinner the gentleman that helped us after 9:30 was so nice and very patient with me.
Our only complaint's were no tea bags in the room or kettle and that it also advertised breakfast and we did not get that it was a extra charge starting at $9.99 and up.

I would possibly stay again if ever in the area.

Friendly staff and clean but rooms are very outdated.

The Hotel is ok for what it is - The property and rooms are coming out of the 70s or 80s but it is clean and the beds are ok!
So Overall the stay was ok and we hat a nice time on the Island.

The service was great, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the pool and hot tub were well maintained. We had a nice stay overall.

Disappointing, dirty. We stayed in main hotel for several nights; early cancellation policy involved stiff penalty. Staircase carpet had not been vacuumed when we arrived. Housekeeping, when they came in at all, made the bed at most, and never picked up garbage. Last day, we came back to find the room strewn with tissues and plastic bags all over the floor, whereas we had tidied up earlier. Towels were thread-bare, some torn; others had coloured, questionable stains. Furniture was stained and sticky. No soundproofing. Even outdoor pool was uninviting, with no deck chairs, no tables, no umbrellas. A general state of dilapidation, unfortunate considering the rooms were large, the staff friendly, and the location perfect for visiting PEI. We paid a lot of money, high price point, and feel we should be compensated for lack of basic hygiene and cleanliness. Management did nothing, claiming “third-party bookings” such as Expedia or Hotels.com.

3rd floor room was beautiful.. internet and TV function was poor

The staff were top notch. Every person we spoke to was friendly and went above and beyond! The inn was a bit dated but very clean. The room was huge. Location was great, just outside of Cavendish and a short drive to Kensington.
