I liked the room and the fact that it has a carpet. I was so cold but a gentelman came and showed me how to work the heat. And they would start to heat the room earlier so that I found it warm by the time I was back at the hotel.
Also the lighting was great. Hotels are often dim but Southern Sun Sandton was nice and bright
The bathroom sometimes had a strong smell in the mornings that i suspect came from the plumbing system.

The duvet and blanket is not warm enough in winter. And sleeping with the heater on makes one feel sick.

It was difficult to adjust the temperature in the room, so the room was always cold.
Hotel was great
Guy at Coffee section was unbelievably rude and out right aggressive.
Waiting 15min and went to him 3 times to get a coffee yet he was just busy talking to the other staff!.
He wouldn't give me his name.
Iv noticed all over South Africa staff just busy talking loudly, childishly
