Honestly everything was good
Best hotel ive ever stayed in and did not want to check out! The staff were so lovely and gave such a warm welcome, the cleaning staff did a great job and also arranged my teddy on the bed with a biscuit which was the cutest thing ever :) the room was super comfy whilst also spacious, containing everything and more that i needed/wanted - fridge/ massive free breakfast hamper that was there the night I arrived/ re filled the next day / lovely bathroom with amazing shower / tv / hair dryer ect. Great if you want to stay somewhere fancy near lilleshall (20-25 min drive from lilleshall) - i had an archery comp so this was a lovely place to come back to.

We chose the hotel because it was a good location to visit both Shrewsbury and Ironbridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
The restaurant is a separate business and was not open in the evening two of the nights we were there. You have to buy drinks from the bar separately from the food. We were asked to pay a £20 deposit if we wanted a fan in our room (apparently a lot get stolen!).
mooie kamer, en alles heel schoon
ontbijt viel erg tegen, mandje op bed...voorverpakte croissant,niks vers. Heel jammer, maar eigenaar heeft ons wel een plek aangeraden waar ze een goed ontbijt hadden. Was wel betalen.

Disappointing continental breakfast, a packet of crunchy nut cornflakes, muesli and nuts, apple and yoghurt, did not like croissant in a bag, so unappealing. V chaotic check in, no clear signage, other customer complaining they had been boxed in the car park, never asked if we'd like to eat there.....close to leaving then and there, hired a fan for night but had to hunt around in the morning to return it and get back deposit. Signage poor, guest experience poor, not even a considered in my view.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We stayed in extremely hot weather and they found a fan for our room. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The hotel looked recently refurbished. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The basket provided was very nice and the fridge was useful. Good location. Room was quiet enough and not too hot considering the weather. Was nice to hear sleep from outside. Garden looked pleasant too.
Not much to dislike. We were on the top floor which is fine but make sure you check if this is a problem for you. I did like the basket but would prefer a cooked breakfast. I do understand why the basket is used though. Bathroom was quite small but not especially a problem.

Room 1 located on the road side next to two way traffic lights, meant constant traffic noise. The room was small with an even smaller bathroom which felt claustrophobic and the bed was the most uncomfortable I've had the misfortune to lay in. Coupled with the "Old" undulating and uneven floor and the step into the bathroom in into a shower without heating controls meant that you played jeopardy with others in building! Not the best experience.
Staff were super friendly and accommodating! The room was really cute and all the amenities were great !
