Was ok to stay for one night
Pros:

Close to everything all within walking distance.

Cons:

Awfully tight parking area.. for the amount charged per night..
Not all staff were friendly. I was asked to sit somewhere at the back if I were to take the dog for breakfast. Not very hospitable for a dog friendly hotel when charged an additional cost.

Really enjoyed our stay, brilliant location and all the staff were so lovely, chatty and couldn’t do enough for you. Rea
Pros:

The property is older and could do with a little attention , but was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was excellent in size and the shower pressure was great.

Cons:

The mattress was either very old or cheap as you could feel the springs through it

In all a great stay given great access to the local attractions.
Pros:

Great location with excellent access to the theatre, Barbican and the Hoe.

Cons:

In all the property was very good, the only thing for us were the beds were too firm l, however as we had driven down we had mattress toppers with us so not an issue.

Great location and value
Pros:

I liked the location near the Hoe and center city

Cons:

We were allocated a room at the basement level and we had to look up to see the sunshine. We got a better room during our second stay on July 3-4. The breakfast was disappointing.

Pros:

Location, absolutely perfect for our stop over, made even better by the weather.

Cons:

This is a really picky one, but important to my wife.....
She hates margarine, really hates it. Sadly, that was all on offer to put on her toast at breakfast, but we had our own butter. Other than that, breakfast was great, nice selection, very tasty.
