Beautiful Vineyard, but the Premium Price Was Hard to Justify
Pros:

• Beautiful vineyard setting with stunning scenery.
* Friendly and helpful staff.
* Nice breakfast.

Cons:

* I paid £290 for one night and, at that price, expected a much better room. Our room overlooked the restaurant, so we had to keep the blinds closed most of the time for privacy, leaving us with little natural light and no enjoyable view.
* Considering the hotel’s beautiful vineyard setting, it was disappointing that the room offered no opportunity to appreciate it. I also noticed several other rooms with their blinds closed, suggesting this may be a design issue rather than an isolated case.
* There was no comfortable guest lounge or sitting area to relax outside the room. If you didn’t want to stay in your room, the restaurant was really the only place to sit. For a hotel at this price point, I expected more communal facilities.
* Overall, while the staff, breakfast and surroundings were excellent, I did not feel the room and facilities justified the premium price I paid.
* If you’re visiting mainly for the vineyard, you don’t necessarily need to stay at the hotel. The vineyard is open to the public, so you can enjoy a leisurely walk or afternoon tea without paying the premium room rate.

Pros:

The views over the vineyards is exceptional.

Cons:

The room wasn't, in my opinion, worthy of the price. The bar prices were extortionate...£10 for a bottle of lager. I realise this is probably in line with other 'high end' hotels but the overall stay didn't feel very high end. I guess it's just personal preferences.

Okay
Cons:

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and the level of customer service provided during my stay.

When I informed a member of staff that the avocado was not fresh, she showed no interest in listening to my concern and did not apologise. Instead, she simply responded, “Yes, it is fresh.”

Additionally, I found a fly in my orange juice. The same staff member then shouted across the dining room, “Is this yours?” referring to the drink. When I confirmed that there was a fly in it, once again no apology was offered. She simply looked at me blankly and walked away. I found her attitude and behaviour completely unacceptable, and it significantly affected my overall experience during my stay.

However, I would like to acknowledge Ben and Eduardo, who were both very pleasant, friendly, and kind throughout my visit. Their professionalism and positive attitude were greatly appreciated.
