Estancia agradable pero esperaba más del hotel y sus instalaciones. Parecía más bien un hotel de 4 estrellas.
Pros:

Hotel bien ubicado y personal muy amable. Desayunos bastante completos.

Cons:

Los muebles necesitan una renovación y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien. No me gustó nada el tener que usar la bañera para ducharme porque el suelo era resbaladizo y costaba mucho salir sin riesgo de caída.

Wonderful holiday. The hotel was perfect for combining an active holiday with relaxation.

We hired a car so underground car par was useful.

O quarto era extremamente confortável. O atendimento do funcionário Maurílio, do restaurante, foi simplesmente excepcional. Todos na recepção foram simpáticos, atenciosos e eficientes. As instalações do hotel são maravilhosas. Gostei imenso!

Cons:

O ar condicionado do apartamento, quando ligado em sua ventilação máxima, fazia barulho, o que nos obrigava a manter a ventilação baixa. isto, em alguns momentos, gerou-nos calor...
Para usar a sauna era necessário reservar por uma hora com antecedência e pagar € 15,00 por isso. Considerei inadequado este tipo de cobrança e resolvi não usufruir da sauna, o que lamento.

Lovely traditional hotel
Pros:

We had an ocean view room. The view from the room was amazing. Breakfast was great, full of options. Location was great, a bit off the center (if there is any center in Funchal) which means it was less hectic and busy in the area, plenty of restaurants around, still walking distance to other parts of Funchal which tourists normally would be interested in or a short taxi ride.

Cons:

On booking it says fitness center which rather means space for classes with spinning bikes, 2kg/3kg weights but there is no gym. For a five star hotel you would expect at least a full rack of weights.

Pros:

Das Personal war jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Außerdem befindet sich das Hotel direkt am Meer. Zwar kein Strand aber ein wunderschöner und entschleunigender Blick.
