Very unpleasant
Pros:

I have stayed there beforehand it was fine

Cons:

I was checked into a room knowing the ac didn’t work and they had installed two box fans and it was still 80 degrees in there. I asked for another room and they did not have one available so I immediately checked out was not even in the room 5 minutes

I don't think the price was justified by the quality of the room.
Pros:

Breakfast was fine.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the room was less than adequate. The sheets looked stained. There was a roach egg casing on the curtain by the window. Only one elevator was working. There was no ice in the ice machine.

The location was fine.

Cons:

The a/c did not cool. It was not clean. My daughter fell in the shower. It had no anti-slip material on the bottom of the tub (looks like there used to be some on it). After she fell and we insisted it the tub was slimey and unclean therefore slippery. I immediately let the front desk know she was nice enough but there was no manager. I have yet to be contacted by a manager. Two different people took my information supposedly for a manager to call me. The second person seen to not care at all about what happened.

Customer service was NOT good nor tried to help accommodate the situation.

The property is conveniently located and is the reason why we booked it in the first place.

Cons:

The customer service was NOT good. After traveling 4 hours and having received a confirmation in my email we arrived and were told the room was canceled by them. They stated that they could not reach me due to an issue with the card on file. They claimed that booking would not give them my information, however, it was determined they just didn’t want to use the booking portal to retrieve my information and therefore canceled my reservation. Also, this was on Tarleton state orientation weekend so there were very limited options to stay at and Best Western had already gave my active reservation to someone else.

The clerk tried to give me a handwritten paper with a name and email address and eventually said she’d call her boss. Once I was on the phone with booking she tried to give me the phone to talk to her boss but I was not able to talk to her and booking at the same time.
