Witt Istanbul Hotel

We loved our stay at the Witt! The staff were so lovely and the breakfast was delicious. We also really appreciated being able to leave our luggage a couple of days before check-in whilst we visited a different part of Turkey. We would love to return!

Not sure why I felt led to choose this hotel but it was a great choice. The location was good. The room was spacious and very clean. Somehow I booked it for 2026 (just not sure how that happened) . Thankfully the hotel contacted me and booked a room for us. Also we requested a late checkout and they accommodated us for that. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. My only complaints are the lighting in the room and bathroom was dull and I didn’t care for the artificial aroma used in the lobby. It’s very fake and overwhelming.

Loved the Witt. The staff is amazing, the breakfast is delicious, the rooms are huge and the bathrooms great. Oh and that spectacular view from the roof terrace!!! Great location for our group - close to a tram stop into the old city but away from the tourist crowds. I’ve been to Istanbul often and friends lived in the area so I was prepared for the steep hills in the neighborhood. Sometimes resorted to taxis….the staff had great recommendations for local bars and restaurants. Can’t wait to return to the Witt

Great hotel, great room and the service was excellent. Very nice people but the Turks are very respectful and friendly. Well they were in this hotel. Breakfast was great and the Turkish red wine was delicious.
Definitely stay again it was all a*****
Only negative I would say if you have problem with steep hills you may struggle as we were in our 60’s and we had to take out time. Not the hotels fault but definitely use taxis if you have luggage.

Witt is in a great location, near smart restaurants on the Boshorous, and 30 minutes walk to Blue Mosque etc.

We loved this hotel. Our room was quiet and very large. The breakfast service was excellent. The location was very central to walk for sightseeing.

Rooms are suites, well designed and close to the Modern Art Museum . Also there are some great neighborhood restaurants 3 blocks north. Uphill walk would be challenging for those with mobility issues.

Quiet, comfortable, luxurious, convenient

I chose Witt because I am interested in design. My room was on the second floor and I was glad to be on the corner to have a bit of a view rather than looking directly across the street at other flats. I rated the cleanliness low because the toilet in my room was not working well. Hotel workers came into the room while I was out (with my permission) to assess and fix the toilet. When I returned my bath mat was on the floor along with another towel. Perhaps they had planned on returning to clean up after assessing the toilet? Both my bath towels were quite mildewed. I advised the Hotel. It left me feeling disappointed with my stay. The elevator is fun. The breakfast outstanding - you could have both breakfast and lunch if you timed your meals right. Location perfect! Rooftop has good views but not set up to enjoy the patio unfortunately. Bed was comfortable. For the price, I expect a bit more than I received.

Wonderfully away from all the hustle and bustle of old town, while being close enough to sites and other places worth visiting.

A very nice boutique hotel, which is located near Galataport. Only drawback is that if you have to walk to the hotel, it is a good climb up the hill. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

Terrible experience. 5 days without hot water and no communication. Ruined our experience. It's. 3.5 star masked as a 5.
