Breakfast just ok
1. Large, stylish hotel in a lovely Victorian building with lots of places to chill out in armchairs and sofas. 2. Friendly efficient staff. 3. Easy walking distance from the city centre for those who like walking (2 km).
A walk-in shower is one of the benchmarks of a really good hotel. The hosepipe in the bath was OK for me but might not suit an older person or anyone with mobility impairment. I would be rating this hotel 10 if there had been a walk-in shower.
I liked the hotel and location. I stayed in a room on my own and was very comfortable.
I was charged double for breakfast...for 2 guests even when only me staying in the room. I contacted them after I realised and was told it was because the room was booked for 2...which I think it defaulted to as it was only ever me. I explained this and still no offer to refund for the 3 extra breakfasts I was charged for. This felt a real shame.

The location is great, hotel is really clean and room was lovely and comfortable. The room was roasting but there was a fan, so all good.
Having to pay €10 per night as a resident on top of the nights stay is not good and I didn't like that. If the carpark is used by non residents... Yes charge them, but as residents we've already covered the stay and to be hit with carpark payment on checkin is not good.
The hotel room was very outdated, especially the bathroom, which looked like it hadn’t been renovated in 20 years. During our stay, the rooms were not cleaned between nights and no fresh towels were provided.
The breakfast was very basic with very limited choices. Also, the room did not look like the photos shown online.
The staff was friendly enough, but it seemed like many of them were new, which made everything take quite a long time.
For the price they charge for the rooms, I expected much more. Overall, the price-quality ratio was disappointing

Key cards did not work for the rooms, we were up and down to reception to try and get it sorted.
We paid for the parking and the exit barrier would not work..We ended up been delayed x 1hr leaving the hotel due to this issue.

La posizione era tranquilla e vicino 600mt dalla stazione dei treni 🚆 di superficie con cui potevi andare dove volevi.

I primi due giorni tt in ordine , dal terzo giorno sono rientrato in camera al pomeriggio verso le 16.30/17.00 ed era ancora da pulire la camera.
Non è accettabile, la stanza va pulita già al mattino uno può rientrare quando vuole durante la giornata non deve attendere la pulizia della camera nel bar del hotel .
Perché mi è stato risposto da un dipendente alla reception e abbiamo le pulizie al pomeriggio in quel ala del hotel. Probabilmente poco personale o cmq poco organizzati per le pulizie camere sei un hotel 4 stelle esigo la camera pulita e cambio biancheria quando rientro in stanza.
