The only positive part of our stay was the staff and the restaurant team. Everyone we interacted with was lovely, helpful, and professional. Thank you to all of them.

Cons:

This was the worst hotel room experience I have had at a 4 star hotel.
We booked a "King Deluxe" room expecting it to be a higher tier than the standard rooms, but the only things that felt "deluxe" were the king sized bed and a small table.
The table could have been enjoyable if the room had a decent view, but instead we were given a first floor room facing machines or generators at the back of the building. From our room, we also had a direct view of rubbish bins.
Unfortunately, the issues did not stop there. The room had no proper ventilation or air conditioning. The bathroom ventilation was not working, the shower and bathtub drained poorly, and the bathtub itself had mold or dirt that clearly needed deep cleaning.
Overall, this was the most disappointing stay I have had among all the 4 star hotels I have stayed in.

Cons:

Coffee dock in basement was understaffed and staff hadn't a clue how to serve. Waited for 25 minutes while a staff member tried to rectify a room issue with the customer in front of me that could have been sorted with a quick call to reception. Then I had to return 2 rock hard scones before I was given a reasonably fresh one!!! Basement area is beautiful though.
