The staff was friendly, helpful and overall just great! Enjoyed our stay. Location is around everything restaurants, shopping and 30 to 40 minutes to the beach ⛱️.
Pathetic. Zero drinks in the building. Zero. No vending machines, no drinks at front desk. Filthy room, rude front desk, rude manager.
This hotel needs some serious maintenance and attention. Carpets are stained. Seat cushions in lobby are worn out. Our room smelled of mold upon entering. The furniture is nasty. It is stained and the chair cushion is flat and won’t go on the chair properly. Tried to reposition and found the entire back of the seat cushion to be open, zipper broken and unable to even be zipped, the foam inside partially missing with an entire corner of the foam missing. Handles missing off the dresser, toilet paper holder pulled out and partially hanging on. The bed pillows collapse almost flat and are useless. Curtains coming down. One good thing… the air at least was cold all night. Room 306
Stayed heer many times and always receive professional, accommodating and welcoming service from Gina, Karen, Nate and Autumn. Unfortunately, the hotel itself has gone downhill. The outside needs to be power washed due to dirt and mold. The chairs in the lobby are threadbare. The closet door in the room was missing, the desk chair had its fake leather worn off and the room chair was soiled. For the past 3 years there has only been one working ice machine. (3 years waiting for parts seems a bit excessive) Seems the pool chars have been missing for a while too.
My room has always been clean but this time there were problems that I cannot excuse. There was a long black hair on the toilet lid and hair on the bathroom floor. After getting into bed, I realized the top sheet was missing. (Unfortunately, I did not call downstairs since it was late) There was only a comforter and a silky cover on top of the comforter, not a very sanitary way to make the bed.
When I woke in the morning there was a long black hair in the bed. Since I have short white hair it sure wasn't mine. I can handle a bit of wear and tear but I cannot tolerate the room not being clean. I heard a few months ago that things were going to get better. Sadly, they have only become worse.
Upon checkin room was soiled in the carpet with toenail clippings; pubic hair on the toilet; and toothpaste remained in the sink. The room had an odor as well. When my partner talked to the desk clerk she was treated poorly by the staff and was border line confrontational. I do not reccomend this or any choice brand hotel. This is the last in a string of underperforming facilities that do not meet the most basic standards of the hotel service industry.
Our family purchased two hotels rooms through a trustworthy 3rd party website. Upon arrival the front desk only had one of the two reserved rooms on their record. They quickly found the other room and gave us the key. The two rooms were on separate floors unfortunately. The upper room was not perfect, but was fairly clean. The bottom room (1st floor) was filthy. I have attached pictures but just a short list: the air vents had what looked like mold in the main room and the bathroom, the shower wall was falling apart, the ceiling bathroom fan was covered in dust (fire hazard), the hallway closet by the door was missing a door, there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, an obvious and rather large cobwebs attached to the valance, the curtains had brown stains all over them, there were piles of sand and bugs behind the furniture. When I picked a “clean” rag from the bathroom I held it to my face and it smelled very obviously of hand soap. The rag was not clean. Going into this room the smell of detergent was overwhelming, so it was obvious this smell on the rag was different from it not being cleaned well. This is just a small portion of how dirty this hotel was. The lady at the front desk blamed short staff, and I understand that. However, we paid for two clean, safe rooms and only received one that for that criteria. Choose another hotel.
Nice but needs a bit of attention. Staff was super nice. Rented 2 rooms. Room 312 the fridge does not work. Room 314 the dispenser for body wash was empty. The halls needed vacuuming. Breakfast was ok but there was no cream cheese for the bagels. Who eats bagels without cream cheese? The bed was comfy but the sheets are questionable on if they were changed? Dingy. The vending area where there should be snacks and stuff was empty. Still we were comfortable and I am thankful that these were minor things.
We had worst experience at this hotel … they promised to clean the room while we asked for for it and the room was not cleaned. and washroom was not cleaned .. there is is a stupid front desk assistant who is rude and while asked this in phone he said it’s not feasible and cut the phone … being a front desk person I have never seen this kind of response from any one .. please don’t choose this hotel … no cleanliness and no pole staff and waste of money
Overall a 3, lobby was not very clean all 5 days we stayed, internet room was broken, washing machines were broken, ice machine only worked on one floor. Room was not cleaned all five days. On the 3rd day I asked if they could do the room, the counter person said yes we are on the list! All we got was towels. That’s no cleaning!!! The bed was decent, fresh coffee at 5AM. Free breakfast is small, enough to fill but not great just ok, Road House restaurant is very close so one side of the hotel is very bright at night
Nice hotel. Stayed 1 night while on a road trip. It was located right off of I-10. The room was clean. Loved the mini fridge with a small freezer. The staff was very courteous. There was a pool & workout room but we didn’t use them because it was just an overnight stay. I would stay there again.
Clean room friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast was better than expected asked questions answered politely and helpful manner
A nice place to stop over. Staff nice, friendly, and ever ready to help. The breakfast was great. The room was clean and spacious. Good security
I can’t recommend staying here based on the actions of two individuals. All others we are interacted with were great but the two soured it for us. The front desk manager (I believe she was the manager) has a major attitude problem and does little to acknowledge even basic issues that arise.
We paid extra for a jetted tub and the 1st night it didn’t work. The phone also didn’t work to call the front desk, and the TV remote was broken. When I brought it to her attention the next day, she told me I was wrong and the tub did work. She also told me I can use my cell phone if I need to reach the front desk. She was incredibly dismissive and condescending. The following day I watched her berate a housekeeper in front of me while I stopped at the front desk and the employee was visibly embarrassed. There’s more but I doubt much will be done about it so I’ll leave at that. (Other than breakfast being cold every single day of our 4 day stay. Luckily they had a microwave, although they also often didn’t have plastic forks or knives……but they did have a disgusting half full bottle of community ketchup oozing crusted ketchup down the bottle. Just gross.)
The rooms were clean and it’s a good location. Management (at least hers) is atrocious.
Facility was lacking in much needed maintenance. Room had a running commode and closet door was missing part of it. Overall condition has lowered from the previous stays.
Stay away!!!! This has been the worst experience in my life! BEDBUGS!!!! Rooms were filthy! This place needs to be shut down!
Karen was the worst person I have ever met in the service industry. I was a front desk supervisor myself & never treated anyone the way she treated me & my family.
This property has bedbugs and when staff was notified of it the second time they kicked us out and called the police and stated we were refusing to leave when I tried to get the front desk personnel’s name.
Room was next to the elevator and we could barely sleep through the night. The back of the toilet bowl was split in half and I had my autistic grandson with me. Also the carpet had red stains on it. When asked to move to another room especially because of the split bowl. I was told I couldn’t and the lady at the front deck put blue tape on the back of the split bowl, which appealed to me grandsons curiosity more. I wasn’t happy with this stay at all
