Lovely public areas and bar … couple of nice outdoor areas to enjoy a drink
Fridge in room …. Nice biscuits hospitality tray and toiletries in bathroom
Lots of stairs to our room on third floor …. Bed was very low but comfortable … broken fan … small bath towels … would prefer walk in shower
Very close to the railway station
Our room was very nice but we were given the disabled friendly one . Which is very good if you are in a wheelchair or disabled . But my 6ft 3 husband found the very low sink and toilet in the bathroom challenging . Also when we arrived there were no towels in the room
Little gem of a hotel right next to the railway station and in the heart of the small town. Lovely friendly welcoming staff. Very modern bedroom with brand new en suite. Comfortable bed - slept like a log. Nice bar/restaurant attached to the hotel with a good choice of food and drink reasonably priced. Choice of continental or cooked breakfast, again reasonably priced.;

The hotel wasn''t far from the Railway Station and there was plenty of free parking nearby.The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble.
The room was excellent with a four poster bed and a balcony.The price of the food and drinks were reasonably priced with the restaurant staff very attentive.

Good location, good food.
We've used the Royal on a number of occasions and we always find the staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They also store our motorbike in the garage overnight.

Did t like the fact there was an issue with the kitchen, didn’t get any notification of this issue in advance of arrival. Had we known there was an issue with the kitchen in advance then we could have planned dinner with more time.
