A return visit to Hotel Balcon de Competa
Pros:

Friendly staff, a clean room with a great view from the balcony.

Cons:

I’ve been a regular customer over recent years and, on this occasion, I thought that the hotel had a tired feel to it and could benefit from some upgrading. I was surprised that public rooms such as the bar and residents’ lounge were locked after lunchtime and for the rest of the day including access to the pool and surrounding terrace. I presume that was because the hotel was extremely quiet with very few guests and meant limited staffing needs. Also breakfast choices were adequate but reduced on two of the three mornings of my stay.

en general es un sitio muy tranquilo en el que desconectar, la habitación de cama doble esta bien, sencilla y lo necesario. el baño muy bien tambien menos por la mampara rota, sencilla podria decir q un 8/10.

Cons:

lo que no me gusto fue la piscina, te prometen piscina en el momento que reservas y no estaba disponible (limpia) tampoco nos dieron llaves para bajar ni nos informaron de ello, con lo cual un poco estafados. los camareros 2,5/5, dejan que desear, independientemente que ello hotel sea de 1 como de 5 estrellas.

Pros:

This hotel is located in a lovely hill top village with wonderful views off mountains right down to the sea. It was clean and well presented with local Spanish style furnishings. We stayed a few days in early December which was very quiet, which is unusual for Competa. But it was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We have stayed here many times and will definitely return.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been better, with more to choose from.

Alles, de kamers zeer veel, en zeer weinig opbergruimte, ook niks van comfort ( geen frigo of waterkoker) niks fris kunnen drinken s avonds ,alles dicht ol 22u soms om 20u al. ontbijt maar pover, geen aanrader!!!!!!

Decent 3 star hotel with great view
Pros:

Breakfast was good and the bar was good value. View was exceptional from the cafe / bar area. Rooms were cleaned daily. Good pool, with lifeguard.

Cons:

Bungalow was a bit run down looking. Shower did not work great.
