The size of the room and the view over the abbey.
No bottled water left in the rooms along with the tea and coffee.
Not all people drink tea / coffee.
The property was full of character and very clean. High on a hill, with some nice views through the window, and en-suite too. Also, very quiet which meant getting a good nights sleep.
The service was great too, very friendly and helpful staff.
I cannot say anything negative about the Mount Pleasant Hotel. I will book again!

Staff very welcoming, Ashley and Marcus booked us in and ensured our whole stay was enjoyable.
Cleaning ladies of the hotel definately impact the quality of hygiene and ensured room cleaning posed no inconvenience.
Waiting staff in the mulberry restaurant were also professional and polite as well as attentive.
We were upgraded in room choice, resulting in a wonderful view of the priory albeit at the top of the staired building.
The cleanliness was excellent and in room facilities including, tea, coffee supplies along with biscuits were a really nice touch.
Comfortable bed with good quality linens and room temperature and mattress very conducive to enable a great nights sleep.
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful again with friendly helpful staff ensuring any requests were met.
There is an adjacent car park for which a car parking electonic hub in reception and bar is available.
The menus of the mulberry provided expertly cooked main and snack meals. The variety met with dietary needs. The quality and quantity of food was very good and cooked professionally, very tasty!
Overall i would definatly stay here again as a 2 night stay was not enough. There is also a triple lauered seating stea outside to sit and have a drink.

Oh and as you walk from the hotel car park, there is direct access to the malvern hills.
Lastly there is a convenience store next door and the hotel is right on the main road for central shops, cafes, eateries and about a 20minutes walk from the malvern link railway station.
Parts of the decoration appeared tired and may benefit from painting. However the personnel/staff investment deflected any concerns, as their focus of client care was impressionable.
If a small room fridge could be a considered in the future, this may be beneficial for guests.
