Well up to expectations having stayed in the Chateau first in 1988
Pros:

Possibly not quite as good as in the past with the choice rather limited and the coffee out of a thermos flask not very hot . The dining room is a lovely place to start the day on our journey south

Great location for anyone travelling to / from the Chunnel, easy to access from the motorway, 24 hr reception. Comfortable, clean room, lovely garden area outside, pets able to stay at an extra cost.

Cons:

The room was very hot, too hot! we could not find anyway to turn the heating down. Other than than, it was a lovely room and bathroom which was comfortable and clean.

le petit-déjeuner peut se prendre jusque 10h30, c'est super. Il y a un bon choix de produits, la salle de repas est spacieuse et très agréable. Le choix des boissons, très bien, jus de fruits frais ou en brique, café filtre ou en machine automatique. Nous étions ravis de celui-ci.

Very handy for the tunnel and clean but minimal staff around.
Pros:

We have stayed many times at this hotel on our way home from the Alps as only an hours drive from Le Shuttle. We have usually booked the Prestige room which is very spacious and clean with parking out side the door. There are 2 restaurants available both with a good choice of food. This time we ate in Le Distillarie where the food was tasty, cooked well and the staff were pleasant.

Cons:

There was only one member of staff around in reception on arrival and the same on departure who also doubled up as kitchen help. Breakfast was limited and had to work out most things yourself eg coffee/ drinks machine as no one around. There was no prepared fresh fruit on the buffet. The place overall felt a bit desolate.
