Hotel or hostel?
Pros:

The lady who checked us in was very nice. Location was great. Free parking.

Cons:

This is a bit of an odd place. It seems its probably a hostel with a few rooms let out as a guest house.

The room was ok but up in the eves. No sight of the manicured gardens as stated on the listing as way too high up. Microwave in room, but no fridge - were they expecting us to cook?!

Lots of odd signs around saying private, remember your key card or theres a £50 call out fee as there is no one on site. Strange as I thought this was a hotel.

Lots of key boxes by the front door. Which is kept locked and you have to call someone to be let in.

Faded grandeur - was probably lovely once - Lots of cheap furniture housing things like irons which lead me to think its not really a hotel.

Immaculate
Pros:

We booked our room quite late as we were not sure if we staying over night in Bournemouth. The location was literally 2 min drive from the beach front and parking was free.
My main concern was if we can get a room with air conditioning which was provided by the No5 Durley Road.
Quick purchase on booking.com and we made our way. Place was easy to find and had a lovely fountain in front of the building and plenty parking space.
We was greeted by a Receptionist which was kind and polite - we received a card to room 7 which was one of the first.
Room was spacious, clean and nice.
We had complementary extended check out time and in general we give this place 5star!
Strong recommendation!

Cons:

Nothing- it was all perfect !

We were told to collect all the key cards as someone was trying to break into the hotel. There are people living as temporary accommodation. There was no one at reception the whole stay.

The location is great. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

The sockets in the bedroom were not working. Our friends from room 11 boiled the water for us so we could make some tea. And there was no one at the hotel who we could tell about the problem.

Awful. had to move hotels.
Cons:

Hotel was a mess. Room was awful could not shut window. dead flies on the windowsill. Cobwebs all in the window. Mattress was stained and there was a piece of thin foam on top of the mattress to cover the mess.
