Room amenities need more maintenance, the couch and the sofa need some cleaning. The bedroom needs additional decoration and mirrors.

This hotel is excellent value for money in a beautiful location.
Pros:

Buda Castle Hotel is in a beautiful location on the Buda side of the Danube River, close to Fisherman’s Bastion & Buda Castle. It is easily accessed by the number 16 or 216 bus. Despite our room being at the front of the hotel, it was very quiet & peaceful. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfy, the shower was powerful & there are tea/coffee making facilities as well as a mini fridge.
The reception staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is buffet style with a good selection of pasties, bread, juices, tea & coffee, cold meats, cheeses and hot choices of bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs & pancakes.

Cons:

The hot breakfast choices weren’t as hot as I would have liked.
The chairs in the bedroom were badly stained & some of the towels were quite worn.

Pros:

A great hotel. In a quiet area a 2 min walk from Jamie Oliver restaurant. In the castle hill area. If u like walking all day around a city and retreating to a quiet historical area later this is for u. There is a nice little shop up the hill from the funicular and a hookah bar look right at the funicular. Across the road there is steps to the fisherman's. Bottle of wine n sandwich not bad here. I would stay again even though I thought b pest a bit of tourist trap but hotel v nice.

Jederzeit wieder
Pros:

Frühstück war sehr gut, die Zimmer waren sehr schön und ruhig. Die Lage für uns war optimal, einmal vom Bahnhof Deli zu Fuß ca. 10 Minuten und zu Fuß in die Stadt ca. 20 Minuten. Es war unser dritter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel und sicher nicht der letzte. Also sehr empfehlenswert.
