I was willing to give this hotel the benefit of the doubt, wish I hadn’t.
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Dilapidated and run down. Mould in the bedroom, vanity unit falling off wall, blind damaged, thin duvet, dirty duvet, dirty mattress protector and only 1 pillow.

it's not a great place but it was cheapest with parking at the time. still too much for what it was.
Pros:

Nothing but booked it knowing it was bad.

Cons:

people are living there.

beds are unfortunately and room smelt of urine as people must have been using the sink as a toilet.

dust all down side of bed. sink was coming away from the wall. walls are paper thin

Never again
Pros:

Friendly man on desk

Cons:

Noise from bedroom next to ours most of the night till we left at 8am. Sounded like either drunk or stones shouting to himself.

This property should be thoroughly investigated by the council.
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

The whole property was a disgrace to the hotel service industry. There was mold down the side of the window, rust on the radiator, a busted sink, broken draw, and a hole in the mattress which looked like the entryway to rat's nest.
When I pointed out everything to the guy at the desk, he made a defensive statement of how, apparently, for the prices they charge, "it's not worth investing in maintenance checks to bring the building up to code."
If you think like that, you aren't in the right line of work.
