Worth considering staying, quiet in a nice village but with easy access to places to visit
Pros:

Breakfast was really nice and very filling and the lady serving breakfast was genuinely friendly and really went the extra mile to ensure everything was correct.

Cons:

Very little was bad about the stay the pub overall would benefit by a revamp as its clearly been a while and some areas are looking tired but it wouldn't put us off staying again in the future

Lovely place, just disappointed with our meal
Pros:

Lovely welcome from Sam, she showed us to our room. Looked clean, seemed a bit odd that the bin in the toilet had been used as an ashtray, looked like burns on the lid.

Cons:

We booked a table for dinner, unfortunately the young man who took my husband’s order didn’t get this right. The meal had to be returned and re-cooked, so we didn’t eat together. The waitress kept saying she was sorry. We were not asked if our meals were ok after this, but every other table around us were asked!!! Another table had an issue and they were offered a free dessert, we weren’t offered anything! We were very disappointed at this. When we paid, the waitress didn’t know why the order was incorrect, my husband said go and ask him, the young man who walked past her into the kitchen. She didn’t say anything.

Beautiful Village
Pros:

The staff, especially Dawn at breakfast. She was very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was huge and very tasty. It’s located in a beautiful little village.

Cons:

The toilet was in a separate room from the shower and both rooms were very small. The noise from downstairs in the pub went on until late especially on the Saturday. I used the earplugs provided but it was still very noisy.

Pros:

Great breakfast comfy bed & pillows. The staff were attentive and accommodating.

Cons:

The leather room is a bit dated with paint hanging off the pipe work going around the room . The bathroom was rather dim with no window of ventilation. Rather grubbed shower screen. The church bels kept going off on the hour through the night .
