Great Breakfast from Dawn, and great staff, (Sam!) and lovely stay, confortable bed and pillows
The room had pipes which ran and were noisy in the night and the bells from the church which rang every hour

The shower room was small but it was quirky because of the building, so not a big deal. I'm literally not picking because you asked what I didn't like which was hard to find something.

Only disappointment was confirmed a later checkout of 12pm before arrival and from 10:10 had constant knocking on the door from cleaning staff, who then at 11:00 banged on the door again advising us we didn’t which did spoil the morning

We stayed in the French Room, which was lovely overall. However, we had a sleepless night because the air heat pump outside our window kept switching on every three minutes, causing constant noise and vibration throughout the night.
Lovely food both the evening meal and breakfast were superb.
